Donald 'Devante Swing' DeGrate

We were finally in New York City getting lost while driving and we finally made it. We found a cheap motel it was 90-something a night so we weren't trying to stay very long. The first thing I did is called Alexandra cause I have been thinking about her, I was missing her.

"Crane's Resident!" Alexandra answered.

"Hey baby, it's me Devante!" I said.

"Hey, Devante you finally up in New York?" Alexandra asked as her tone of voice changed so fast.

"Yeah, we got lost while we were driving but yeah we're here! How is your mom?" I asked.

"She's doing okay, for the most part, just came back home from seeing her," Alexandra said.

"Have you heard from your sister?" I asked.

"Yeah, she is catching a plane to come," Alexandra said.

"Well that is good, I miss you," I stated as I knew she was smiling.

"I miss you too! Tell the guys I said hello and miss them." Alexandra said.

"Aight, I will! We just got settled in so we all gon take a shower and go to uptown records." I said.

"Okay, good luck you guys got this on the page!" Alexandra said.

"Thanks, I will call you if anything happens," I said.

"Okay then, Lata Devante!" Alexandra said.

"Lata Alexandra," I said as we both hung up the phone.

"Was that Alex?" Dalvin asked.

"Yeah, she wanted to tell yall that she said hello and miss yall," I said.

"Shit we miss her too, I wish she was here with us!" Jojo said.

"Me too!" I said.

"Hell Nah they got bugs in here!" K-Ci said.

"This is all we could afford bruh!" I said.

We found a phone book so we can find uptown records it took us a while but we found it, as were heading over there to uptown records as we all walked to the front desk.
