Faith POV
"About time you show up. Remind me again why we had to do this so early?"
"Because I have shit to do today and you have your weekly gig at the bluebird tonight so it had to be this morning. Now what had you so lost in thought when I sat down?" Julia asked taking a sip of her coffee.
"I ran into Tim, he's over there" I said motioning to his table with my head.
"Tim as in your ex, that you write songs about and pretend they aren't about him?" She asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yup" I said taking a sip of my coffee.
"So I take it there won't be any writers block today?" She asked taking out our notebooks from her bag.
"No writers block today. I already have a hook for something."
After almost two hours later we had a song finished.
"You gonna demo it and try to hand it off to someone or keep it?"
"Think I'll play it tonight and see what kind of reaction it gets then I'll decide."
Tim POV
As Byron and I walked out of the cafe I couldn't help but think about how good Faith looked before I could think anymore about Faith, Byron started talking.
"So Missy made plans for us and a bunch of other people that have come up for the wedding to have dinner at the bluebird tonight. One of the girls I help produce demos with has a weekly gig there on Monday's. So you'll get to take in some live music while you're up here"
