Tim POV
I was shocked to get Faith's text last night, but I wasn't going to second guess it. I sat at one of the tables and prepared myself for the conversation that could go one of two ways.
"Thanks for meeting me here" she said sitting down across from me.
"Anything for you"
"I thought everything over after I left the studio yesterday" she said biting her lip.
"And what'd you decide" I asked trying not to sound too impatient.
"I'm willing t o take the risk of being with you under some circumstances" she said before looking out the window.
"What are the circumstances?" I asked nervously.
"You have one week, starting when you land to break up with her and then move up here. If that can't happen, well don't bother contacting me, just listen to the radio instead" she said looking me straight in the eye "I'm not going to wait around for you again. I have a career now, I cant spend all my time wondering if you're actually gonna keep your promise this time"
"Those are the circumstances? What about my job?!" I asked slightly in shock.
"Those are the circumstances, and you'll find a job here quickly. It really hurt me the first time you would come and then you didn't, I ended up not eating for days. This is me protecting me from going down that road again. So what's it going to be Tim?"
