Tim POV
I landed a couple hours ago and am now on my way to Kristine's house, I've been trying to figure out the best way to break up with her without hurting her too much. When I got to her house I used my key to go in.
"Hey baby! Welcome home!" She said coming over to me and hugging me.
"Hey, we um need to talk" I said pulling away from her.
"Yeah I got your text. What's up?"
"Let's sit down" I said walking over to one of the chairs in the living room, starting to get nervous.
"Ok....." she said sitting down on the couch across from me.
"Byron and I were at a cafe and I ran into Faith..." I said trailing off, and giving her a sad smile.
"You still love her, don't you?" She asked sadly.
"Yeah, I'm gonna be moving up there to be with her"
"I always knew deep down that you weren't over her. I was the safe choice right? You couldn't have her so you settled with me?"
"I did love you but it's always been her for me. I'm sorry Kristine. I'll always be thankful that you helped me out of the toxic environment I was in."
"It's ok. I've always kinda been waiting for the other shoe to drop" she said shrugging.
"Find someone who can really love you, with everything they have, you deserve that much. I hope you find happiness" I said standing up and putting my key on the table.
"You take care Tim, don't waste anymore valuable time with her. Enjoy Nashville" she said with a smile as we walked to the door.
