Faith POV
"Thank you for another wonderful Monday night at the bluebird! I hope to see more of you next Monday" I said waving to everyone and trying to stop my voice from breaking. As I walked off the stage I motioned for Julia to follow me. I walked into the back room and just collapsed into a puddle of tears. Julia quickly wrapped me up into her arms "it's gonna be ok, I know that was a hard one to sing with him here" she said softly "hopefully he got the message with all the songs you sang about him."
"Every phone call we had after I moved here he would tell me he'd follow me up here once he finished a year of college like his mom wanted but he never did and he slowly just stopped calling me. I don't know what I did or what happened back home for that to happen" I said sniffling realizing I never told her the story at any point in the past 4 years.
"You still love him, don't you?" She asked rubbing my back.
"Yeah but there's nothing I can do now, he's happy with that girl I head him talking about earlier" I said with a sad smile.
"Maybe you can talk to him before you leave" I just shrugged as she said that.
Tim POV
When Faith finished I could tell she was wiping a tear away something you wouldn't have noticed if you didn't know her or hear her trying to stop her voice from breaking. After noticing that I knew I had to talk to her before I left here tonight.
