Tim POV
"I do still love you Tim and I probably always will but it doesn't matter anymore because you're happy with whatever her name is and I'm happy with my career" she said shrugging
"But Faith it DOES matter because I don't love her like I love you" I said with a deep breath.
"I don't get it Tim, if you love me why did you stop calling and not keep your promise of following me up here?" She asked confused
"Something happened.." I said trailing off hoping she would drop it.
"Tim what happened after I left?" She asked narrowing her eyes at me.
"I got involved with the wrong crowd and started partying too much, drinking more and doing the occasional drugs. Then I met Kristine and she helped me get out of all of that" She just nodded her head as I said that, I wish I could tell watch she was thinking.
"If I didn't move right away, do you think that still would've happened?" She asked softly.
"Honestly yeah I do"
"That's all I needed to know. I'll see you around Tim" she said before heading back inside.
"Faith! Wait!" I yelled after her but she didn't turn around. I tried following after her but she was lost in a sea of people. With a sigh I made my way to the bar to try and figure out what the hell just happened.
