Tim POV
I felt like I was outside for forever but in reality it couldn't have been more than 5 minutes. I quietly made my way back inside and to the table. As I snuck back in Faith was in the middle of a song and I couldn't help but think that I had some influence on this one tooThey say it's easier as time goes by
Why won't these tears stop falling from my eyes
Letting you go wasn't what I planned
With every mile the more I understandIt's a long, long road to independence
But I'm leaving you for Tennessee
I've got demons riding shotgun
Telling me not to go
But what they don't know
Is I'm already goneAnd I almost turned around on highway 65
In Arkansas I pulled off at a truck stop just to cry
I put myself together at the Chatham county line
And I thought about my heartache and all the reasons why I should drive
It's a long, long road to independence
But I'm leaving you for Tennessee
I've got demons riding shotgun
Telling me not to go
But what they don't know
Is I'm already gone"Thank y'all so much! I'll be back after a small break, I hope you've enjoyed what I've played for you so far" She said stepping down from the small stage and walked over to a small group of people. I briefly thought about going over to talk to her but decided to wait till later.
"She's pretty great huh?" Missy asked leaning over
"She's amazing, I'm surprised no one has signed her" I said telling her the truth.
"Every time she comes into the studio to record a demo, Byron and I tell her she could make it big but she just tells us she's happy doing this. It's a shame you're with Kristine, I think y'all would be cute together" she said with a shrug before turning to one of her friends. If only you knew Missy.
