jae eun ended up liking her job which exceeded her expectations. every day, she would dress up in button-down shirts of a myriad of colours, and her black pencil skirt. she wore black heels which irked her feet, but she managed to get them off every time when her feet was unnoticeable to the public.
nobody passed by, moreover entered the building. what does this company do anyway?
she never knew, and she had no interest in that field either.
"this is getting boring."
she knew she could not shirk her responsibilities after being here for merely a month, which explains why she's always on her phone.
she does stumble across the missing persons noticeboard online quite often, but his name was never on there, not even for a slight minute.
it's like he disappeared from the surface of the earth.
"ugh where did he go?"
she ruffled her hair in frustration and annoyance, before realising she was at work and it was inappropriate to greet any potential guests in her current state, so she smoothed them out almost immediately.
jae eun admitted that she was indeed worried about him and his whereabouts, because she was pretty clear that he did not have a place to stay, plus he looked like he had zero connections with the outside world apart from her.
"excuse me? how do i get to the main office?"
she dropped her phone almost instantly, and furiously gathered her heels together before slipping into them with zero effort.
"let me lead you there."
it was part of her job scope to help out those who were completely clueless about the area.
with her head still down, she picked up her clipboard and a pen before looking up at the man and stretching her left arm out towards the direction of the elevator.
"this way please."
"thank you."his smile was one of a kind. one of his tooth was different from the rest and it stood out when he flashed a toothy grin.
he looked somewhat familiar. but jae eun could not reach a conclusion.
she managed to direct him to the main office, which she did not even know whether it was occupied, as her mind kept replaying the list of male names that she knew, trying her utter best to recall this man.
her head started to hurt a little so she decided to give up her thoughts and return back to her position. her heels were once again off her feet and she pretended to browse through the computer, mind still not leaving the man who left her a strong impression.
"woojin?"
