I love you, I've always hated you

I waited for you
I wondered when you would come home
But a girl came home too

She looked familiar
And younger
Waits, that's my sister
What the hell, Alexander

"I love you," he said
She responded with the same
I just want to go to bed
I need to talk to him when he's more tame

I sat in the room alone
Is he drunk
Isn't the bar closed
My mind is stuck

The door opened and closed
My sister was gone
He got real close
"If you think I won't do something when you tell someone, you're terribly wrong"

He walked away
And walked out the room
I decided to stay
And think about what just went down

I told my best friend
And he found out
I never felt the end
The feeling of skin to a belt

He abuses me
He needs to stop
I need to tell the police
He needs to get in trouble a lot

The police came
They took him away
I felt more sane
I think as I lay

"I love you," I said
I started crying in my hands
"I've always hated you," he responded
Its hurts just to stand

I'm glad hes gone
But I'm not
He's going to be gone for so long
I'm glad hes gone, I don't know what I thought

I loved you but now I don't
I won't
I never will
And this is where the relationship end

This poem is inspired by a book I was just reading. I actually unintentionally wrote this as a story but a poem and I like it like that. I hope you did too.
