Chapter 6 - Xavier

"Do you remember when we were like eleven and we were running down the block for whatever the fuck happened and we both tripped on the street and fucked up our faces and shit?" I asked Kimetrius. We are sitting outside of the house smoking weed. That's the only thing we both do. Fuck the other drugs. He started to laugh as I just smiled at him. He nodded.

"I do. That shit was funny. Your mom had to help us with bandages and shit like that. Then Ski came over and made fun of us" he said before taking another hit. I laughed also.

"Yeah. Those were the fun times though. I don't want to grow up" I told him. He nodded agreeing.

"Nah me neither. I just wanna make music and have fun" He agreed. "So you got a thing for any of these niggas?" He asked me with a huge goofy ass smile. I looked at him with a look that says, 'are you serious?' And laughed.

"No" I said shaking my head. "Ion really know any of the them that well, only Stokeley" I told him.

"Right" he joked with an eye roll. I laughed and shoved him.

"Stop!" We laughed.

"Aye!" I heard Stokeley voice as the front door opened. I looked back to see him walk out. He sat down next to us. "Stas do you mind if I talk to this fool alone for a minute?" Ski asked me. I looked over at him and nodded. I passed the blunt to Ki again then got up.

"Kicking me out and shit" I mumbled jokingly. They both laughed along with me. I walked inside to see Jahseh walking down the stairs. "Hey" I said to him as I sat on the couch.

"Hey. You look really nice" he told me as he sat down next to me. I smiled widely and tried not too. I knew my cheeks were getting red. He smiled.

"Thank you" I said back. I brought my feet up on the couch and faced him. I put my arm on the top of the couch and leaned on my hand. He did the same expect he didn't put both legs on the couch. Only one.

"You're blushing" he pointed out then laughed.

"I am not" I said putting my hands to my cheeks. He went to talk, but I continued, "Stop"
I whined making him laugh again. I put my arm back up and laid my head back on my hand. "What you doing today?" I asked him.

"I'm not sure yet. I kinda wanna go to the mall and get some new things" he told me. I groaned.

"I gotta do that too soon since I left with barely anything"

"Come with me" I nodded agreeing. "When do you wanna go?" He asked.

"I don't care" I shrugged. "Whenever"

"Let's go soon. That good?" I nodded. "Ight" He said nodding too.

"So I listened to some of your music last night" I started off and he started to smile. "I loved every song. They're all good as hell" his smile only got bigger.

"Thank you. I'm happy you liked them" he said back. The front door opened and I looked over to see Ki and Stokeley standing there looking all goofy.

"What you two doing?" Ki asked us.

"Talking" Jahseh answered back.

"Anyway, Stas we brought someone here, well they asked to come here first, not like it matters, but someone's here" Ski said making me laugh at him. Ki moved over and my brother walked in the house.

"Xavier!" I said smiling. I stood up and ran over to him.

"Didn't realize I'd miss Bunny after only two weeks" Xavier joked as he pulled away from the hug. I groaned at the nick name. These boys love to bother me.

"Yeah whatever I missed your bitch ass too" I said back then sat back down next to Jahseh. "How's the house with the devils them selves?"
I asked my brother. He rolled his eyes.

"All y'all fights are so dramatic! You and Mom are fine. It's just Dad-" I cut him off.

"First off, they treat me like shit and treat you perfectly fine. And second off, if you came here to ask me to come back home, don't bother because I'm not" I snapped back. Xavier, Ki, and Stokeley sat down. Xavier sighed.

"I'm sorry Stas. I just came here to see you" He told me. I nodded not knowing what to say back. I don't even want to talk about my parents. "What you doing today?" He asked.

"I was gonna go to the mall with Jahseh" I answered him.

"Wow you wasn't gonna chill with me" Ki joked and I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Shut up Ki Ki" I joked back.

"What'd you say Bunny?" Ki said laughing. They all laughed at our fake little fight.

"Y'all wanna come to the mall with us?" Jah asked them all.

"I'm down" Xavier said back.

"Same here" Stokeley answered.

"Ight lets go then" Jahseh said standing up.
