Chapter 35 fight night part two

Zayn's Prov-

"I have to go meet up with the rest of my teammate and get change. I'll see you later". I said to Hayley before dropping her off in front of the entrance. After I park the car I headed to the locker rooms. I saw Jason getting dress and smiled at him. 'If only you knew were I was before I came here-actually who I was with before I came here' my mind said. Jason stared at me and said "what are you look at". Before I could stay a slick comment Liam grabs me and said "nothing, we were just finishing getting dress". Liam drags me to my locker and throw my jersey at me. "Hurry up your already late" I nodded at Liam and throw on my shirt after I finish the coach went over the play book with us. Liam was going to pass the ball to Jason while I waited by the touch down area for Jason to throw the ball to me. "No, I'm not giving him the ball so he can make the point" Jason announced to the coach. "Listen little boy you might be the captain but im the leader of this team and you will play by my rules or I will give your position to someone else who will". The coach said back and I couldn't help but to laugh.

Jason stared at me after I laugh and I wink at him, after the coach leaves the locker room. Jason walks up to me and said "what so funny" I lick my lips and said "nothing little boy" mocking him with the coach words. Liam grabbed Jason by his shirt and said "if you come after him again over some stupid position crap I will come for you" Jason's face was priceless, I took tell that if his friends weren't in the room he would be begging Liam to let go. The coach came back in and I pulled Liam back before the coach saw. "Come on out here and let's win this!" as I walk to the field I whispered to Liam saying "so overprotective" Liam nudge me and we laugh out to the field.

As soon as we walk out I spotted Hayley and her friends, but only Hayley stand out the most okay, Hayley and Kendall. I stopped staring at Hayley and started to focus. The game was going good we were tied and all Jason needed to do was throw me the ball. He is so cocky he might make actually try to make a touch down all by himself. I heard the crowd yelling at Jason to pass the ball but his stubbornness wouldn't let him. I started to get angry because I hated to lose and I didn't want to lose just because Jason is scared that I might take his position. But I could care less about being a captain, I just wanted Hayley he could have the title. I saw one of the guys on the other team coming after Jason and I just knew that he was going to get tackle. At a blink of an eye Jason was on the ground with and the ball was in the hands of our opponent. Damn it Jason, the whistle goes off and we lose.

I calm myself down and everyone started to clear out Liam and Harry was still mad that they lost but the anger passed me. I saw Harry walking off with a redhead, who was pretty hot and Liam was gone. I look at Hayley in the crowd and her face was so disappointed and it was all her stupid boyfriend fault. Suddenly the anger came back and I said to Jason "nice going we lost because of you, great sportsmanship you have''. Jason got in my face and all I saw was Hayley walking out on me with him that day at the diner. I pushed Jason out of my face and he came back so I punched him. This time he laid on the floor, the next think I know I was pounding my fist into his face.

I heard Hayley telling me to stop but I kept going, then I didn't hear her voice anymore. After my ten punch to Jason's face Harry yanked me off of him. If it was anyone else I would have punch them by now but I couldn't punch Harry he was like my brother. Harry stare into my eyes holding on to my shoulder "Calm down! Isn't worth it" I stared at Harry and nodded. I started to calm down Harry let go on me. I wanted to apologize for my actions, but I couldn't face her yet... I just couldn't so I did want I always when I can't handle things. I walked away... As soon as I did the coach gave a speech "This game is officially over......." I tune the rest of him out, for two reasons, number one I could care less about this game or this team I just joined to tick Jason off,and number two i have to figure a way to convince Hayley that what happened tonight won't happened again.
