The Blue Lion slowly landed, being careful not to do accidental damage to Keith. "There's gotta be something here to fix you up." Lance said cheerfully. He didn't know for sure if his optimism was real or fake, his only focus was to get some help.

"Easy does it..." Lance whispered as he slowly picked Keith up bridal style.

Keith was confused from the pain. But being held by Lance was surprisingly comforting. "Ah, shit." Keith agonised over every step Lance made.

"Sorry."

It felt like they had travelled for hours. Although the two only walked through what looked previously like a concentrated area for inhabitants, but no remaining building resembled even the slightest of a medical facility.

Keith, although dazed, tried to scan for a shelter but everything looked like the slightest touch would turn the place to dust.

Clouds started to gather in the crimson sky, which too were a shade of red. A drop of rain fell from the sky onto Keith's cheek. It was red as well! Upon closer inspection, the droplet seemed more like blood than rain.

Beams of violet shot down from the sky. "Quiznack!" Lance swore and hurried as fast as he could. The blood rain was getting heavier and harder to escape in. No matter how fast Lance and Keith went the beam would catch up in an easy feat.  Lance quickened the pace but carrying Keith wasn't an easy task.

"No no no no no-"

"...Hold still... hurt... you... fine"..."
"... NO... cannot... side... Galra..."
"... We... him... die..."
Voices were pounding through Keith's head, but it was too hard for Keith to understand the conversation.

Soon a pointy, needle-like object was pointing right at Keith's face. Keith's heart skipped a beat as the metallic point got closer and closer to Keith's face. Keith turned his head sideways in an attempt to avoid the pointed edge. "Oh stop being such a milborth or we won't seal that nasty cut of yours."
"Let him bleed to death! He is not on our side!"
"Now Magrothis. That's quite enough jibber jabber about prisoners we haven't trialed yet."
"But Arlcinthus, we musn't take the chance!"
The voices were like springs in Keith's ear. "Sh-shut up."
"So the prisoner talks."
"For Voltron's sake, he is not a prisoner."

Keith was fed up with the yabbering. "Pipe down. A-and prisoner?" Keith asked, trying to reek as much information from the two blurry figures as he could.

The two aliens became clearer as they stepped closer. They were "Galra?"

"In Voltron's name I had never heard anything so insulting in my life!"
"You can't blame the girl. She looks like she's been through a lot involving the forbidden race."
"My word, Arlcinthus. This is obviously a male! And you should never trust males. Never trust them."
"Gender doesn't make any difference to me. And males aren't that bad. We ourselves are male."
"Stop using my own words against me."
"Calm down Magrothis. I'm not implying tha-"
"Shut the hell up!" Keith yelled, absolutely sick of their squabbling. The two aliens fell silent and stared at their prisoner. "Who are you and where is Lance?"

"Who are you and where is Lance?"
