Ok so I'm finally getting more motivation to write this story. I had almost decided to discontinue this story but I got more ideas. Anyways, I know in the description I said some of the story plot and I haven't even started introducing that yet. This chapter FINALLY starts to introduce that. Also I do these notes at the top instead of a full Authors Note chapter because I personally get bugged that an author updated only to write how unmotivated they are (ME).

"We're fucked." Lance said. Keith was internally panicking. What were they going to do?!

The Hawchet started to ram straight for Keith and Lance. "Scram!" Keith yelled as the two dodged out of the way. The Hawchet slammed hard into the wall of the arena, making the entire stadium shake violently. Keith could hear the cheers of the alien spectators. 'Just like the Galra'

The Hawchet let out an ear piercing scream before backing up and charging again. The next few minutes were a blur, the only thing Keith could seem to process was his fear. Lance was doing no better than Keith, dodging and shaking.

"Thats it. I- I can't do this Keith." Lance dropped to his knees and clutched his head tightly. He was having a panic attack. Keith raced over to Lance, who's face was wet with tears.

"Lance are you okay?!" Lance didn't respond but started wheezing. 'He can't breathe!' Keith thought and he tried desperately to get Lance functioning again. The Hawchet was fast approaching and if Keith didn't get them out of the way they'd be pancakes. "Lance please!" Keith tucked his arms under Lance's, trying to drag them away.

The world was in slow motion. They'd never make it out of the way in time. Then...

...a roar.

The blue lion was in between the paladins and the Hawchet. It was here to defend Lance from the monster before them. Blue zoomed straight into the stomach of the Hawchet. It flew all the way to the other side of the arena. A giant crack started to form and went all the way up to the ceiling. The roof split  so you could see space. Everyone inside the arena was vulnerable to suffocation. The aliens madly scrambled away while Keith carried Lance in a mad dash to the blue lion.

Blue took off as soon as the *gays*- GUYS were in her cockpit. Whew that was close.

"Lance, please." Keith brought Lance into his arms and cradled him. Lance slowly calmed down after being comforted by both Keith and Blue. "You okay?" Keith finally collected the courage to break the silence. Lance nodded, not moving from Keith's embrace. Lance eventually drifted off to sleep. That left Keith to run over what had previously happened.

Blue came for Lance, but Red didn't show for Keith. Was... was there a reason that Red left Keith to fend for himself. Keith tried to search for his bond with the Red Lion, but it was like his bond was cut. He couldn't feel Red anymore.

Another cliffhanger, whoop whoop. I'll tell you what weird. My favourite Voltron character is Lance yet I'm writing a book on Keith. Y? I dunno, you tell me. Also is it just me or does story kind of not make sense? I want to go back and fix it but I'm lazy af.
