After class they hurried to school and then rushed to the detention centre.Elise started to gather the kids around the table.
"Here are the tests.Both Finn and I know the answers but we won't tell you the answers.Some of the questions are a bit challenging but we've done the test so it assesses every grades ability so if you don't know how to answer it leave it blank and go back to it after.Please write your names at the top so we can write you comments on how to make it easier.Also they're so we can give them back to the right people.Finn and I-will be busy while you do the tests but please try to do your best."Elise handed out the test to each child and sent them to sit in different places around the warehouse.Once the last child had gone off with their test,Elise turned to look at Finn.
"We have some work to do.We need to fill in the Juilliard forms.And figure out how to pay for the tuition.I have the forms right here.Here's yours."Elise passed over the forms.
"Thanks."Finn said scanning the form."Look, Juilliard does drama as well as dance,I had no idea."
"Look how many types of dance we can choose from.I'm going to put ballet down"
They filled out all of the forms before Elise produced a large brown envelope which they put the forms inside of.Elise put it back in her bag.
"It's already labelled and stamped.I went posh and put first class."
Finn nodded and squeezed his eyes shut in hope.
"I'll post it on my way home if you like" he volunteered.
"Ok,Thanks-Are you done already Lily?"
Small,blonde haired Lily was standing beside Finn.She nodded.
"Ok, pass your test over here. Finn and I'll mark it once everyone's are in.Go and have some fun!"
"Ok,Elise."
Elise smiled and groaned.
"I'm never going to be able to leave this place!"
"What do you mean?"Finn asked.
"The kids.They make me smile and they're so happy! I won't be able to leave them."
"Look we might not get places.Don't worry about it until we do"
Once all the tests were handed in it was time for all the kids to go home.
"See you tomorrow guys!" Called Finn.
"Bye Bye Finn,Bye Elise!" Called Lily skipping out the door.
"Are you taking the tests home Elise?"Finn asked
"Uhh,yes.I need to mark them for tomorrow.You have the forms in our envelope right?"
"Yep.They're here in my bag."
"Come on.Let's get home.We can post them at the top of our road as we go past the box."
"Do we have a dance lesson tomorrow?"Finn asked
"Yes,come to mine at six tomorrow.We need to be early to explain our plan to the madam."
"I can't wait,princess."
