Home work and the truth.

After school Elise and Finn ran to the detention Centre.They were met with a huge long line of kids waiting to get inside.
"Elise!Finn!You're here!Can we go inside now?"
"Of course we can Ella."Elise said turning the key in the door.She held it open for the kids and counted them as they went inside.Finn started chatting with some of the kids and joking around with them.When everybody was inside they shut the doors and turned on the heaters.Finn gathered all the kids in the middle of the room around the big table they used for homework.The kids,sensing that it was going to be serious,all sat down in the chairs or on the table while Elise spoke.
"We have your test results!"Elise handed them out to the kids who either smiled in delight or frowned in disappointment."Remember guys,these were only placement tests so whatever percentage you got doesn't matter one jot ok?"
Finn spoke and nodded"We need  everyone who got lower than 35% to go over to the beanbags,anyone who got between 45% and 50% to stay right here anyone who got 51% and 70% to go over to the books and anyone who got above that to go over to the painting arty area.We'll be with you in a minute."
Elise looked at Finn while the kids moved to the different areas.
"You want to explain to the younger kids and I'll do it to the older ones?"
Finn shrugged."sounds fine to me"
Finn walked over to the younger kids,who were all sat down waiting patiently.
"Ok,Elise and I have been given scholarships to a dance school.We want to take them up on the offer...but we need to find someone else to run this place.We're going to look through all of the people who said they want the job to see which are the best candidates. We can bring their profiles in when we make the decision.We were just wondering if you wanted two replacements or just one?"
Finn could see the kids turning the question over in their minds.
"Finn,I think I speak for us all when I say we want two replacements,just as smart and clever as you guys!"Red said as everyone else grinned and nodded.
Over with the older kids Elise said and asked the same question.
"Ok,guys we'll talk about your future leader tonight.Lets get the homework done."
