Last dance

Waking up the next morning,Finn found himself in Elise's room.He shot up,eyes wide in panic, when he heard laughter.
Across the room Elise was stretching on her barre.
"Come on.We need to get to dance practise this morning,if only to tell the dance academy that we're not coming back in fall."She laughed at his face.
"Elise,I don't have any of my kit with me.And I'm..."he glanced down at himself."in my school clothes."
"Never mind.Just come on!" Elise said tugging him down the stairs and onto the landing.
"Mom,were going to dance practise now."Elise called as they went out of the door.
"Ok honey,stay safe though please.And get some breakfast after you finish."
Elise rolled her eyes "Yeah,we will mom."
After a quick stop at Finn's house where his brother teased him for hanging out with a girl,Elise didn't mind!they arrived at the dance studio.
"We're you successful then?" Asked the Madam.
They looked at each other and then at her nodding excitedly.The madam swept them both into a huge hug.
"I'm so excited for you both.I suppose you came to say goodbye then?"
Finn and Elise nodded sadly and hugged her with tears welling in both of their eyes.
"We wanted to give you one last dance.That is if you want to watch"
The madam's eyes softened and she smiled at her favourite dancers.
"That would be lovely,Elise,Finn."
She watched as they got changed into leotards and ballet slippers,memories of Elise first coming to the studio and her astonishment at how good of a dancer Elise was at such a young age.She watched as they stretched at the bar.
As they began to dance she watched mesmerised. It was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen. It was elegant and playful and as they were taking their bows she stood up and clapped with all her might.
"That was beautiful children.Thank you."
They dipped their heads in thanks and curtseyed low.
"We'll miss you Madam"
"Yeah,but we'll make you proud of us."
"I'm sure you will.Good luck in New York darlings."

After getting changed they crossed the road to the cafe.This time Elise picked up two napkins and hot drinks and passed one to Finn.
"Here,breakfast."she said smiling"We need to figure out who we're going to have run the detention centre.But school comes first."
