Closing up

Closing up the shop that night was tough. Not only was it heartbreaking for Elise as she had run it since she was twelve but it was also sad for the children.Still, if everything went to plan the detention centre would be under new management as soon as she and Finn looked at the application,of which they had ten.
She turned the key in the lock and went home.
In her room, she called up Finn. He answered immediately.
"Hey, Elise! Ok,I can come round right now if you need me too."
"Yeah, I think I do....."

Finn was worried about Elise.He knew she didn't like change.Quickly he called to his brother to tell him he was going next door. His brother yelled back to him to be safe and to have fun. Quickly,Finn grabbed what he needed and ran out of the house. He leapt the fence and walked up to the door ringing the doorbell.
The door opened immediately and Elise's mom ushered him inside.
"She's upstairs." She said pointing up the stairs.Finn nodded his thanks and set up the stairs calling her name.
When he got to her room he rushed over to her and hugged her super tightly.Elise leaned into the hug and touched his neck.
She whispered" we need to keep looking at our replacements"
Finn reached up to her hair and began fiddling with it.
"I know we do.And we will tomorrow."

Elise's mom came upstairs and knocked on the door worried as they were being very quiet.However the door to the room was open and Elise's mom poked her head into the room and smiled softly at the cute image of her daughter and Finn curled up on the bed,both fast asleep.
Elise's mom took a picture of them on her phone before going downstairs to let next door know that their son would be spending the night at the house.
One moment later and the phone rang.
She answered it with a "Hello?"
"Hello? It's Mrs Darting from next door.Our son just said that Finn will be staying over at yours tonight?"
"Oh,yes.They've both fallen asleep on my Elise's bed. They have dance practise in the morning so I'll ensure he's back with you tomorrow evening."
"Thank you so much.We'll see you tomorrow evening.Send our good wishes."
