I woke up and immediately walked outside my new home. I saw Brandon was picking up things and Robby was looking around the area. I started to make my way through the little town. It was like a dirt road with buildings on the sides. There was a shop that was filled with useful things. I just kept moving through until I reached the end. At the end was a little church. I opened the big wooden doors and got a very eerie vibe. There was blood smudged all over the walls. At the end of the church was a stand that had a book wrapped in a blue hoodie on top of it. I decided to wear the blue hoodie since I was cold. We started to store everything we had in the store. In a few hours, we had the food in one section and clothes in another. We also had tools in another section. It was a well-prepared town. They had a lot of things. There was a building where an armed force had kept weapons. There was uniforms, rifles, pistols, and knives. It was great. We had enough in this town to keep us alive for a long time. It was like the town's militia or something. I decided to go hunting. I told Robby and Brandon what I was doing and I grabbed a rifle and knife. I slowly moved through the trees trying to find animals. After only an hour, I notice a deer. I started to slowly move after it. I moved as quietly as possible until I was right behind it. Right as I was about to shoot it the deer started running, so I started running too. I couldn't let him go. I ran and ran through the leaves making twists and turns after it. But as I was running I stumbled and lost my balance. I was still standing though. I was a little dizzy and started staggering towards where the deer went. Then I heard a big metal clank and next came a surge of pain. I screamed as a net came down on top of me. It forced me into a laying down position. I looked down to my feet to see my left foot caught in a bear trap. I could see the blood oozing out of it. It was truly disgusting, but I kept my composure. I sat up and used the rest of my strength to try and open the bear trap and release my foot. It wouldn't budge. I could tell it was deep into my foot. I grabbed my knife and started cutting until the net broke free. I fell to the ground with a loud thump. I tried to take the bear trap off but I didn't have enough strength. First, I grab my rifle and put it over my shoulder. Secondly, I stood up as best as I could and dragged my foot in what I thought would take me to the town. I was lost and dragging one of my feet. I was losing my strength though, and It was getting hard to keep it together. I was losing too much blood. I was losing my sense of direction, and my vision was getting blurry. It was too late. I collapsed next to a tree, and slowly I faded away.
