Only Know You Love Him When You Let Him Go

IT IS TIME.

it has been long enough of writing Only Know You Love Him When You Let Him Go that I can post the original story plans. They have changed drastically, and I will include another round of planning (or what I can post because I plan to use some of it still) so umm yeah enjoy reading what I wanted this to be originally.

Original Idea:
Lams. Lams is cute. Lams is taken for granted. Jackie only realises how much he truly cares about Alex after they break up and Alex falls for Tommy. Jackie becomes depressed. Mullete is there too. Laffy tries to make it better. Herc is just a big teddy bear. Alex doesn't notice how upset Jackie is until he attempts suicide, knowing he let the love of his life slip through his fingers. Jackie writes a suicide note addressed to Alex: "I loved you. I always have. I don't know how it took so long for me to see, but I realised it when I let you go. I realised it when I saw you happy with someone else. I just thought. 'I wish it were me.'I wish I was the one who was able to make you smile by just a single glance. To make you laugh with a single smile. But I let it all slip through the cracks. I hope you two are happy together. Yours Forever, John"Alex realises what he had done, and tries to fix it, but our Jackie being himself would rather sit from afar and see Alex happy, than hold him down and practically force him into something he doesn't truly want. Especially when he knows it would also break Thomas' heart if he stole Alex from him.

Second Idea:
It's Quiet Uptown (8 and 9)
The main crew leaved New York for a week to go stay at Mount Vernon. Everyone enjoys their much needed break and has fun- progress the main relationships. Alexander and Lafayette constantly break down at memories, Alexander being careful and only letting it show in front of Thomas, wanting to be strong for Lafayette and Hercules. In part 2 everyone goes to a bar to have some fun. Alexander is approached by creepy old man who slips something into his drink. Alexander doesnt notice and after a bit, he's stuck leaning on the man. James is nearby and hears Alexander asking for Thomas, whining when the man grabs at him more. James saves the fukkin day bc he's a badassTake a

Break (10)
Alexander and Thomas decide to spend the rest of their time in Virginia with Thomas's family. Alexander mentions they he wears dresses from time to time, and shows Thomas the dress he had brought. Thomas, Alexander, Lucy, and Mary all go to a bar. Literally nobody remembers the night.

Hurricane (11)
Alexander, Lucy, Mary and Thomas play the who can piss Peter Jefferson off game. Alexander wears a skirt, knowing it would piss him off majorly, as he had in the past made fun of him for his hair being long, god knows what would happen if Alexander wore a dress. Alexander gets into an argument with Peter and Randolph, who both continuously insist that it's unnatural. Peter drags Thomas into it, telling him he had to choose between his family or Alexander, which only angers Alexander more. Lucy and Mary get involved defending him, as it's not right to make someone choose something like that, and it ends with Peter kicking Alexander and Thomas out. Alexander storms out, along with Lucy and Mary, who admit they're dying to move out. A while later Thomas reenters with a black eye, which angers Alexander more.

The Story of Tonight Part 1 (12)
A month after returning to New York Alexander and Thomas get in a car accident. Thomas makes it out unscathed, but Alexander took a blow to the head, ending up in a coma. It slowly begins to tear Thomas apart, him falling into a depression from his survivor's guilt. He wishes James hadn't disappeared a week prior and hoped he would turn up soon. Lafayette and Hercules do their best to help Thomas, Lafayette swearing he couldn't lose Alexander as well. Even Hercules begins to act off, as nobody had ever seen the usual flurry of movement and noises completely silent and unmoving. George does his best to help everyone, but he's too old for this shit

The Story of Tonight Part 2 (13)
Alexander sees John, who tells him he can't die just yet. Thomas continues to do his best, refusing to leave Alexander's side save the few moments he'd been pulled away to shower and take care of himself while Lafayette or hercules say next to Alexander. Lucy does her best to help her brother, and Hercules and Lafayette begin to worry about Thomas' wellbeing, seeing as his best friend had been MIA for a week, he was basically disowned by his family, and now he's stuck seeing Alexander in a coma.
