So it's name was Demetrius, I couldn't understand why it was so hard for him to tell me that. I didn't know the reason behind his arrest but I was certain that he did something terrible. I wouldn't have to worry about seeing Demetrius anymore, he'd be imprisoned for the rest of his life.
What was strange about the entire situation was the man with the sunglasses. He seemed to be very interested in me but for what ?
I stood up making my way downstairs. I had the entire house to myself today. There wasn't much to do anyway since I was barely home most of the time.
I collasped on the livingroom couch and sighed. On. The wall lit up and the news instantly began playing.
News reporters swarmed around the front doors of the prison. The man with the sunglasses stood in front of the them with a smile.
"Well I'd like to say that Demetrius is my most promising creation yet even though he can be a bit...defiant at times." The man took off his sunglasses and I gasped.
Accompanied by the burns by his right eye, it wasn't there. Well there was something in the socket, but it was a black ball. Why did something feel so wrong about him ?
The guards brought Demetrius next to the man. His head was hung and he looked defeated. "Why don't you tell them about where the greatest Humanoid was hiding ?"
Demetrius slowly lifted his head and Alexander gasped at the color of his eyes, fiery red.
"I was in the Fields, a temporary home before I could find my way back to the prison...where I belong", Demetrius announced.
The reporters wrote down his statement eagerly. I noticed that he sounded almost mechanical, like he was being forced. But how could someone like him be forced into doing anything ?
"This is ridiculous", I sighed.
"My protege !" The man exclaimed. The crowd clapped. "He will be returned safely to my protection". I doubted that.
"Mr Graves how many other humanoids are in your protection ?" Another reporter stood up asking yet another question.
"Well that's hard to say exactly...maybe over....a thousand", he answered.
A thousand humanoids. What would you need with that many humanoids ? They didn't have any use anymore so it was pointless.
"No further questions please", Mr Graves said.
The guards grabbed Demetrius and pulled him through the doors. That would be the last time I would see him.

"Alex wake up"
I groaned. I must have fallen asleep on the couch. My eyes opened and Benson was standing over me waving his hands wildly. Was something wrong ?
"What happened ?" I sat up lifting my hand about to rub my eye when Benson smacked it out the way.
"No time for that get up !"
Benson grabbed me and dragged me off the couch, literally. My feet dragged behind me and Benson didn't seem to care much.
Once we got outside the door Benson hauled me to my feet. Beside them were Margaret and Mr Howard both staring ahead. I blinked to make sure I was seeing things correctly.
Mr Graves stood in the middle of the street with many of the faceless guards surrounding him. What's happening ? He held a small box up to his mouth and spoke.
"If anyone comes in contact with any more humanoids I advise you let me know, I wouldn't want anyone creating problems like that young man over there", Mr Graves smiled devilishly pointing at me, it was sickening.
