I was staring straight into Margaret's face. There was an eerie glow surrounding her , the bright light radiated around her body.
"Margaret I saw you die," I whispered.
This had to have been a dream but we were in the warehouse still, everything as vivid as real life.
Mr Howard entered the room with a glass of what I assumed to be alcohol. He swirled the liquid around while taking in his surroundings. "This is an interesting place," he said.
I was unable to speak, I was trying to come up with the right words. I had been so distracted lately that I was going insane, I was dreaming about my dead mother and Mr Howard.
"You've grown into such a young man, I'm proud."
I spun around and there was a man who resembled Benson and I , sharing many features. It was father.
His short brown hair clung tightly to his head, it wasn't as long as mine but his eyes were big brown orbs. I still remembered him which was surprising.
"F-father how can you be here ?" I asked.
He never answered me he only smiled, it scared me how much he looked like my brother. Every time I stared at him I felt horrible
Father extended his hand out toward Margaret and she took it gratuitously. Her face lit up with excitement and it glowed even brighter. The two snuggled close and began to spin around in a haunting dance. Although their feet touched the ground there was no sound. Mr Howard hummed to himself and lifted his glass as if he were toasting to himself. He didn't seem to mind being alone.
Everyone looked so peaceful and it brought tears to my eyes. I'd never see any of them ever again, I'd be lucky if I dreamt like this again.
A glass shattering scream pierced my ears. My eyes flickered toward Mr Howard as he stared at his drink-less hand.
His face twisted in agony. A small fire had started at the bottom of his feet and was crawling up his legs. I went to stand up but found myself glued to the floor.
"You can't stop it," Margaret whispered.
Another fire started and both Margaret and father burst into flames. Their wails filled my ears and I too screamed in pain. I placed my hands over my ears to drown out the sounds of their horrific deaths. The walls began to shake and crumble tumbling onto the concrete floor.
"Wake up idiot !"
My eyes flew open and a hand was placed over my mouth. I blinked rapidly and I finally settled into my surroundings.
I was in an alley and it was early morning, the sun hadn't even risen yet. All pairs of eyes were on me: two orange, one brown, and another hazel.
"What is your problem ?" Demetrius growled. "You could attract a Bio Bot."
I sniffled and stared at his deathly grip on my wrist. My hands flew up to my eyes and I wiped them. Benson pushed Demetrius out the way and crouched down to look me in my eye. He grimaced heavily, it was the first time he actually looked defeated. "What happened ?"
"Nightmare," I answer vaguely. I left out the details knowing he'd be upset.
Ricochet was peeking out into the street and cursed loudly. "Great job Alexander now they're coming."
Demetrius shot up running to his sister's side. "Do they see us Ricochet ?" His voice was low and cryptic. She shook her head. "Well we should be able to escape."
I gripped Benson's shoulders and he helped me to my feet. I wobbled slightly still feeling quite weak from my dream.
"Maybe we can get away," Justin suggested.
