XIII - Sleepless Night

Nancy's POV

Everyone kept quiet after the incident at the restaurant

I still wonder what happened

Yeonwoo hasn't been saying anything and I'm scared to ask

We just kept walking until we have reached the dorm

We were already in front of our room when Yeonwoo held my hand

"Nancy" she said staring at me

"Y-yes... Dabin?" I'm still not used to it

"Please stay with me tonight" she asked

"What? No!" JooE protested

Hyebin unnie gave JooE a stern look signalling her not to object "You can stay in our room tonight, JooE"

"Uh- Okay unnie. Goodnight, Nancy" said JooE as she followed Hyebin upstairs

"Good night, JooE. Good night, Hyebin unnie" I answered

"Let's go?" said Yeonwoo

We went upstairs without talking

This is the first time I saw what's inside her room

It's a bit messy but tolerable

"I'm sorry for the mess. I'll just clean up tomorrow" she said with a weak smile

The sadness in her eyes is too obvious

"Don't worry. I'll help you out" I said giving her a sweet smile hoping it would at least make her feel better

I gulped when she took her blouse off leaving her with just her bra and shorts

"Take your clothes off" she said as she moved closer

"W-what?" I stood still

"You need to change, Nancy. You can't sleep with that outfit, can you?" she smirked

"Ah, yes. Thank you" that made me nervous for a moment

"Here, use this" she handed me an oversized shirt

I took the shirt and went to the bathroom

"What do you think was I going to do?" she teased

"Shut up, Dabin!" I yelled inside the bathroom

I could hear her laughing

We're lying on her bed a few inches away from each other

"You can move closer. I don't bite" she said

"I'm ok" I said as I lay on my side not facing her

She chuckled "Ok. Suit yourself"

We stayed quiet until I decided to break the ice

"Dabin" I said still not looking at her

"Y-yes, jagiya? You couldn't sleep?"

"Mhhm" I responded with a nod

"Me too. Is something bothering you?" she said caressing my hair

"Actually, yes"

"Tell me"

"Would you mind telling me what happened earlier?" I couldn't help but ask

"Oh, you mean at the restaurant?"

"Yes. You suddenly went out and came back without saying anything"

"It's nothing. Dont worry about it"
