XIV - The Painful Truth

Nancy's POV

I still can't believe why someone would do that to Yeonwoo

Playing with her heart is the only thing I wouldn't do

This girl must have a huge anger on Yeonwoo. But why?

I feel bad seeing how broken she is right now.

Remembering all the bitter things (and the sweet moments) she had with that girl must be really painful for her

I kept her in my arms while she's crying

"Dabin.."

I kissed her head to calm her down

She slowly raised her head and looked at me

"Dabin.."

It pains me to see her cry

But what hurts more is what happened next

She caressed my face and looked deeply into my eyes

"Saranghae... Seung Ri.."

I was stunned by the words she said

"Seung Ri.." she said again

She was about to kiss me when I pushed her away

My foot hurts but it can't be compared to how my heart feels right now

I gathered all my strength to run away

I walked out of her room and went to our room downstairs

Those words broke my heart

I can't believe Yeonwoo is still in love with Seung Ri after all what she did to her

I guess I wouldn't be enough

JooE's POV

7am

I went downstairs humming happily

Sleeping beside Hyebin unnie is the best thing that happened to me this year

I entered our room and found Nancy sleeping on her bed

"N-Nancy.. I thought you slept in Yeonwoo unnie's room"

She didn't answer

Of course she's sleeping

I jumped on her bed to wake her up

"Ya, Nancy! wake up!"

She still didn't answer

Maybe shaking her would help

But as I touched Nancy's forehead, it's burning

"Oh my! Nancy what happened?"

"I-I'm not feeling well, JooE" she answered weakly

I didn't know what to do so I went out to ask for help

I went to Yeonwoo's room and knocked as hard as I could, but she's not answering

"Ya! Yeonwoo unnie! open up!"

What's wrong with this woman?

Is she not even worried?

"Ya, JooE" Hyebin came out of her room

"Hyebin unnie" she's really lovely even if she just woke up

Stop, JooE. This isn't the right time to fantasize

"What's happening?"

"I-I came here to inform Yeonwoo unnie that Nancy is having a really bad fever. But she's not answering"
