Rye

"So, good morning Roadies! Or Good evening, depending on where you live... I'm assuming that a majority of you aren't from England, considering the time; so tell us all where you're from!" Rye said, taking extra care to not give himself away.

Mikey was sat right beside him, which, admittedly, was normal for them, but Rye wanted to keep it as a surprise. So no hugging, no hand holding, and most definitely no kissing.

"Wow... America, Israel, Australia, Germany, France, Portugal, Brazil, Spain... There's so many of you! Thank you so much for supporting us guys, we'll try to be in all of your countries soon." Mikey said, quieter than normal, a bit distracted, but that was understandable, considering what they were about to do.

It was scary for the both of them... This was their fanbase! And if those fans left...

There would be no more Roadtrip.

"Yeah, it's something we've been discussing with Blair quite recently; he thinks it's time that we branch out a bit more than just the UK and Ireland when we go on tour and stuff." Rye added, not wanting Mikey to feel uncomfortable.

He wanted his boyfriend to be in a good place when the truth came out. Not because he would fall apart again, but because he wanted Mikey to want to tell them.
This had been Mikey's idea, to tell them now, but if he backed out Rye wouldn't have a problem. Because they had forever to tell them, really.

But Rye... He was struggling as it was, seeing as he had never considered his sexuality.
He had just assumed he was straight; doesn't everyone though? And then that person comes along, and you realised what you missed. Or that person comes along, and ruins everything for you, because you want to hide, only you can't.

Mikey had done the first thing for him, making Rye realise how stupid he had been to miss something so major; only this wasn't major.
This was just a little part of himself that he had stupidly denied, and he knew there was nothing wrong with it. It was the people that had a problem with it, and he guessed that that was why he had left the subject alone when he was younger.
He didn't want to be the person that everyone talked about, the one that had rumours following him left and right.

But now he decided he didn't care.

He had found that person, and he couldn't be happier. He didn't care what people thought, because he had Mikey by his side, and Mikey had him.

"We know we keep saying this, but it is going to be happening really soon. We can promise you that." Mikey said, his voice growing stronger and clearer, eyeing Rye with a smile. Probably eyeing him because he had zoned out again.

"Right, oh wow... Five thousand of you are here already! We've only been going for a few minutes! You guys are insane!" Rye exclaimed, but not as loud as he usually would; the boys were still asleep after all, and it wouldn't be fair to wake them up.

"Thanks for the contributions too." Mikey snuck in quickly afterwards.

Rye looked at the Live again, noting how they were dropping in so quickly.

"If we could read them out, we would, but there's so many of you contributing." He laughed, leaning closer to the screen. "Nope, sorry guys, I don't think it's going to happen."

Rye and Mikey persisted however,  tryibg to read some comments, until Rye realised that they hadn't said a word for some minutes.

"Right, Mike, so when are we going to, you know..."
Rye trailed off, unsure of how to approach what they had come on Live to talk about.
He didn't want to pressure his boyfriend, but on second thoughts, it seemed that Mikey had everything under control. He watched him with a fond smile before he had to look away; it wouldn't do to give it away now, not when they were so close...
