Another Video

Andy came up with the idea to document Mikey's progress until he woke up, because they all agreed that the Roadies deserved something. And while they couldn't make a proper vlog, they could give the Roadies some insight into Mikey's condition... But not too much. Only the basics, so they'd document whenever Mikey's condition changed.

"Hey Roadies! So it's been two days since we filmed and released the last video... And we just wanted to thank you for all the support we've been recieving from you. You're the most loyal fans, and we wouldn't be where we are today without you, so thankyou." Andy began, and then Jack stepped in.

"Yeah, so as Andy said, we filmed the last vlog two days ago, and we've had some news that couldn't not be filmed. I was with Mikey and Rye at the hospital today, and Mikey moved! He squeezed Rye's hand, which is the most he's moved in six days."

Brooklyn then carried on. "His condition has been... Very delicate, and this means that he's on his way to recovery, and the doctors said that he should be waking up soon!"
Even through the lens, it was impossible to miss he excitement and relief in the boys eyes.

"Anyway, we thought we'd film this, and we're thinking of turning it into a longer video, and it'll show Mikey's progress until he wakes up, and I'm sure that a majority of you are game for that. So, this'll be it for now, just a quick and positive update, and we hope to return in the next couple of days with even more good news." Andy spoke, smiling brightly.

"Yeah, like and subscribe, and we'll be back soon with more news for you. Bye Roadies! And keep up the support for Mikey!" Jack finished.

"What's up Roadies? I'm just going to dive straight in... Mikey nearly woke up today. Rye called about ten minutes ago and explained what had happened, we can't go into much detail about that... But it's a positive sign." Jack started the video, eyes bright and hopefull, handing the Go-Pro to Andy.

"The doctors say that he regained consciousness, but wasn't able to fully wake up. We can say, though, that Mikey is still in a lot, a lot of pain, and is still very tired, so it could still be a good few days until he properly wakes up. We have faith in you mate... Wake up soon, yeah?" Andy finished his segment before handing it off to Brook.

"Again, we wanted to say thankyou for all the support. We're so sorry that we can't get any regular content out for you, but we know that you understand our dilema. I've noticed that you guys have managed to get a hashtag trending... #getwellsoonmikey... And that's awesome, keep spreading the word, keep sending Mikey your support, and we'll keep you updated. Bye Roadies, goodnight!"

"Morning Roadies! We're at the hospital now, kinda rushing a bit, because Brook just called us. Mikey woke up!" Jack said loudly into the camera. "It's been three days since our last video, so when Brook called me and Andy were already out the door, I mean, look at what were wearing!" Jack laughed.
He panned the camera downwards, so that his too big jumper, his shorts, and his socks were on full display.
Then he panned up again. "We just threw on whatever was closest and got the quickest Uber ever." Jack handed off to Andy, who was also out of breath.

"Yeah, wouldn't be Roadtrip without something embarrassing happening to one of us... No, no, we're over the moon that Mikey has finally woken up." Then he looked dead into the camera. "You've got a lot of editing to catch up on mate."
Jack and Andy laughed, before they addressed the Go-Pro again.
"Mikey, if you're somehow watching this, take as long as you need... We've got you covered mate... Oh there's Brook!"

Brook came into view then, and Andy handed the Go-Pro to Brook, who was bouncing on the balls of his feet.

"Ello guys!" Brook quickly pulled Jack and Andy in for a brief hug before looking back into the screen. "Yeah, as I'm sure you've heard, Mikey's woken up, much to our relief, and we're going to see him now."
Brook moved the camera in front of him, so that he was caming the hallway.
"Of course, they had to put Mikey in the furthest room." Andy huffed from somewhere to the left, and the others laughed.

Then they stopped, before gently pushing open the door. "Here we go Roadies... Awwww that's cute." Brook cut himself off as he took in the sight before him.

Rye and Mikey cuddled up together on Mikey's bed.

"Well, take your screenshots now Roadies... I want you to spam our Instagram and Twitter with them. There's a bit if Rykey action for you." Andy quietly spoke, and they laughed again.

The camera zoomed in on their sleeping faces, but they quietened down when Mikey's hand clenched, gripping Rye's shirt even tighter.
Rye opened one eye then, smiling into the camera.
"Sh guys, you'll wake him up." He said softly, beckoning Brook to come closer with the Go-Pro.

"Hey Roadies... Brook told me earlier about the trending hashtag. I can't thank you enough for the level of support you're giving us right now. It's been a long eleven days, but he's on the mend." Rye softly said.
"He woke up about fifteen minutes ago, disorientated, but he was awake. He's in a lot of pain, and really tired, as I'm sure that boys have said before, so it'll be a while before we're filming new content for you, and we're all so sorry about that. I hope you understand that..." He trailed off, lifting his head as Mikey nestled his head deeper into his chest.

He smiled softly before looking back up. " Yeah, so we hope you understand. Anyway, boys, I have a message from Mikey. He says he loves you... And that's the last thing he said to me before he fell back asleep." Rye smiled, the light of the room showing the tears in his eyes. Brook sniffed from behind the Go-Pro.

"Right, anyway, we're going to go now, because I don't want to wake Mikey up. Again, thankyou for all the support, you guys have been amazing this last week and a half, and we couldn't ask for better fans. We'll keep you updated, and hopefully this video should be with you within the next day. Bye Roadies." Rye blew a kiss into the lens before the video turned blank.
