[24] YOU DON'T HAVE TO

Sorry for being late.

ALEXA'S POV:

I sat at the beach for what felt like an hour. I got up and brushed my leggings then walked to my bike. After a few minutes, I'm finally home. I went straight for my room and showered. Once I'm done, I heard mom calling my name.

"Alexa! Dinner's ready!"

"I'm not having it today, sorry!"

I sat on my bed, still thinking. As if on cue, my mind wandered to that time.

-FLASHBACK-

"Hey Xander, who's those guys you've been hanging out lately?" I looked at the male version of me who's sitting on his bed.

"They're my new friends."

"Are you sure?"

"What do you mean by that? Of course I am. They're the only ones who accepts me while the others won't even give me a single glance."

"Oh, okay."

I felt something in my gut, a bad feeling. But, I pushed it away decided to stay positive.

-END FLASHBACK-

Let's just say that pushing away those feelings was a bad idea. I took my guitar and sat by the window, watching the beautiful crescent moon.

I started strumming the guitar in my hands. And started humming along with the song Moments by One Direction.

This song hold a special place in my heart as it reminds me of a certain perrson who's close to me but is already gone.

I hopped on my bed and instantly fell asleep with the thoughts still running in my head.

I got home from school. Today has pass by pretty normal except for the silent treatment from Stone and Mary who is still clinging onto her so called 'boyfriend'.

I went straight to the kitchen, grab an apple and sat on the counter as I ate it. Then, Hunter walks in taking a glass of water.

"Hey Hunt?" I called him as I finished my apple.

"Yup?"

"Can we talk? In my room."

"Okay."

We climbed the stairs towards my room. We layed on my bed looking up at the ceiling.

"So, what are you going to talk about?" After a few beats he asked.

"You know about my friend's boyfriend, Ray, right? He's one of the-"

"Guys we beat on the first day. Yeah, why?" He cuts me.

"Well, my friend, Mary seems to not know about this and Stone said that Ray has a bad intentions on her because he overheard Ray and his friends' conversation. This really bugs me and make me concerned about her because she seems really happy with him."

"Okay, so why are you telling me this?"

"Wait, I'm not finish yet. Do you know about Stone and Tessa?"
