ALEXA'S POV:

I am now in my Math class which is the last one for the day. I am fidgeting with my pen, eyes trained to the teacher trying my best to stay focused at what she is saying. To say that I'm bored and confused would be an understatement.

"You have to......... and then you will get.......... so that's how........and you get the answer." She finished and honestly my mind didn't catch anything she just said. All that come inside my right ear just flew to the left one.

I sighed in relief as the teacher sat on her chair claiming that she wanted to take a little rest. I leaned towards Lily who's sitting at my right.

"Hey, do you understand what the teacher just explained earlier?" I smile sheepishly as she rolled her eyes.

Then, she starts explaining it right from the start. Once she's finished, the teacher had already stands up from her chair proceeding with her lessons.

It was 30 minutes later, the bell rang breaking a smile on everyone's faces.

I got up after the teacher hands our homework. I walked with Lily side by side. It was silence. Not the awkward one but more of a -I'm too tired to talk and I know you are too so let's just stay quiet and not waste our energy- type of silence.

We walked to our seperate lockers, deciding to meet again at the door. I put my books inside it and walked to the door only to be stopped by Stone.

"Hey, can you tell mom I'm going to be late and not to wait for me for dinner?"

"Why? You have something to do?"'

"Football."

"You have phone right? Tell her yourself."

"Out of battery." He grinned.

"Okay. Good luck on your practise."

"Sure."

I watched as he walked away to his friends and walked to the door. I met with Mary, Dibby and Lily.

"Hey, Alexa. Wanna go and watch your brother practising?"

"Nah. You guys go ahead, I have some homework to do."

"Come on, Alexa. Please? It's boring without you."

"Yeah. You can put on your earphones or something and do your homework. We won't bother you."

I sighed, knowing all too well they'll never give up. "Fine."

They jumped in joy and pulls me to the field.

Once we're there, we took a seat on the benches at the side of it. There are other students doing different things. Some are watching the boys basically drooling over them, some are hanging out with their friends and some are alone doing homework.

My friends sat on the bench below me, watching eagerly. I shook my head and takes out my homework and puts it beside me. Then, I takes out my earphones along with some chewing gum I bought in the morning. After getting everything set, I put on Mad Hatter by Melanie Martinez. Call me an edgy teen or whatever but Melanie is awesome along with Halsey.

I decided to do my Math homework first simply because I'm too lazy to think of it at home.

'What are these?'

'Let's just leave that question there.'

'My god this is hard.'

My mind continued making comments to the questions.

"And it makes no sense to me." I mumbled softly in a sing-song voice. (If you get the reference, ILY)

Eventually I'm done with it and continued with the other homework.
