ALEXA'S POV:
It's weekend now, finally. I am lounging on my bed and got completely nothing to do. Listening to songs while staring at the ceiling. I've got no life. Like, seriously, I don't have the mood to read my books, nor do I have any to play with my phones or watch some movies. Yet, I still felt like doing something.
Everything was great between me, Mary and Stone. They were happy with their special ones too and I'm happy for that. That feeling though. The feeling that something's about to go down still didn't leave my guts. It stays there and in the matter of fact, it's getting stronger. I pushed it at the back of my mind.
I groaned loudly and got up. Looking around my room, I search for something interesting.
Nope, nothing.
Then, for some unknown reason my eyes landed on my bag. I shrugged and walked to my study table, grabbing my glasses and putting them on along the way. I take out my homeworks and started doing it while still listening to the songs playing on my ipod, blaring in my ears through the black earphones I was wearing.
First homework, Science.
I started scribbling on the paper and after half an hour later, I'm done.
Next homework, Math.
I sighed. Just by looking at the words makes my head spin, my stomach makes a sound of objection and my mind wandered to other better things I could do.
I shook my head. Taking a deep breath, I answers all the questions. Cheering every time I've got the answers right and groaning every time I got it wrong or when I think the questions makes no sense at all.
One hour, is all it takes to answer these mother flipping questions.
"YES!!" I screamed loudly, satisfied of myself.
I took my earphones and glasses off and stretched a bit but stopped when I realised that it's raining. I grinned.
One of my most favourite weather.
I walked around the house to find that everyone was doing their own thing.
Hunter and Stone is sleeping. The twins and Hanna are playing in the game room while my parents are off to work.
I opened the back door. The sight of my backyard freshen my tired eyes and the sound of the rain hitting the grassy ground sounds like music to my ears. I took a very deep breath and exhales slowly.
I took a step forward on the wet ground and it makes a little noise. I am bare footed. But, I don't care. I started to walk down the path enjoying the beautiful scenery.
My red shirt and leggings slowly getting soaked by the raindrops. I lay down on the grass, my face upward. I slowly opened my eyes.
Clouds. There is nothing else except the grey and stormy clouds, accompanied by the birds flying everywhere trying to get to the safety of their home. I smiled softly as the coldness wrapped itself around my body.
Some people, they'd think that what I'm doing right now is ridiculous, stupid even. But I think what I'm doing right now is what everyone need to do at least once in their life. Just simply enjoys the nature as it speaks to us. For me, nature had something inside their beauty, something unexplainable and unexplorable. That whatever it is, we shouldn't know it as it will change our perceptions in everything.
I hummed. A sudden nostalgia came to me. A flash of memory plays itself in my mind.
"Hey, Xander. Look, it's raining!" My 9 years old self pointed at the window.
