ALEXA'S POV:
Tonight. This night. It's the night of... homecoming. How I wish I didn't have to go. But with my friends here at my freaking house, dressing up, I have no choice but to go.
"Put a bit more mascara over there."
"Where's my lipstick?"
"How should I curl my hair?!"
"How can I make the most perfect wings like the ones in the internet?!"
Seriously, just google it and you'll find the answer.
Idiots.
That's just a pinch of it. There are more but believe me when I say that you don't want to hear it. As they're all busy with whatever they're doing, I'm laying on the bed, facing the ceiling of my room, earphones in my ears as I hum along to the tune.
I looked towards my friends, they are in front of my mirror, doing different things. Ignoring them, I faced the ceiling again, now singing louder.
So, let's have a little flashback on what was happening earlier in the afternoon.
I was just chilling at my home until I heard my doorbell rang. I opened the door, only to meet with three of my best friends, grinning up at me, with various stuffs like make ups and clothes in their hands. I swear it's like they know I don't want to go.
And it's 5.15 p.m now. We're supposed to be at school at 7 o'clock.
I took my phone out, opened the camera and press the record button. I recorded the whole scenario that's happening in front of me with a wide grin on my face.
Suddenly, the door opened. I looked up and saw Stone's head peaking through it. He looked at me and motioned for me to come outside.
My head turned to check on my friends and they seem too busy to even care. I slowly tip toed out of the room.
"What?"
"Are you going to the homecoming?"
I groaned loudly at his question. "I don't know, bro. I'm too lazy to go but it seems like I had to." I said, pointing towards my room door.
He chuckled. "Well, you should go."
"Why?" I tilted my head to the side. This makes him grin almost instantly. "There's something." I didn't ask this time, simply raised my eyebrow in confusion.
He leaned to my ear and whispered. After about a minute, he leaned back and looked at me. A Cheshire cat grin stretched across my face. But it quickly turned into a frown.
"But, I don't want to ruin my friends' homecoming."
He rolled his eyes playfully. "Don't worry, we'll let them have their fun first. Then we strike. Deal?" Stone showed his fist and I raised mine, bumping his in the middle.
"Okay. But if they're angry, I blame it on you."
"Okay."
I was about to walk in until I heard him saying. "Dress nice, Alex. Kill those guys with your pretty face!"
"Oh shut up, idiot!"
I turn around walked into the room to see my friends almost completely dressed up. They looked up briefly and turned back to what they're doing.
"What are you going to wear, Alexa?" Mary asked while putting a fake eyelashes on. I shrugged and flopped on my bed.
This goes on until it is about 6.06 p.m. they're all set except for me.
