[25] LET'S SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

ALEXA'S POV:

We sat there in silence. The only sound was the clock ticking. And as time pass by slowly, the tension started to build.

"Are-"

"Look-"

We started to talk at the same time.

"You first." I said.

He took a deep breath.

"Okay, I know what you're thinking when you saw me and Tessa. I know what you thought of her. She's a bitch and stuff. But, I found out that there's more of her. It all started last week, I was hanging outside and I saw her giving a puppy her food. She seems so kind and gentle that time and I instantly falls in love at that side of hers."

"Whoaa, wait. So, you're telling me the you 'fell in love' with her just by seeing her giving a puppy her food?" I put an air quotation mark and he glared.

"Let me finish. Right after that I started to talk to her. And she seriously feels like a different person. She said that her family have a tough life and that she's been flirting around just because she wanted to forget and wanted to be like the other girls."

I nodded.There are questions running through my mind but I decided to keep it first.

"So, we've been hanging out a lot since then. I asked her out, she said yes and here we are." He finished.

"But how about yesterday when you say the only way to be friends with the others was to date her?" He grinned.

"Well, it wasn't exactly like that. It's just that my friends wanted me and her together so much so I made it as an excuse."

"You do realise that she literally one of those girls who goes to the shopping mall and buy new clothes weekly?"

"I already asked her about that and she said that it was her friends who is buying stuffs not her. And what's so bad about that?"

A few minutes pass, and we're still in the same position.

"You know, I'm kinda speechless when I found out it was her out of all people. I'm sorry if I seems too judgeful but that's because I don't want you to end up like him. And I'm happy for you. You've finally found your very first love." I smiled softly at him and playfully punched his shoulder.

He grinned.

"So, you're okay with me and her dating?"

"Yeah, s'cool. But, if she ever cheated on you, don't blame me if you finds out that she's dead the very next day." I warned him making him chuckle.

"Aww, you cared for me?"

I shrugged. "Just because no one messes with the Knights."

"Yeayy, thank you." He pulls me into a tight bear hug. I hummed.

"I'm going to sleep now. How bout you?" He asked, getting up from the couch.

"Yeah, me too."

"Wanna cuddle?" He held out his arms and pouted, bending his head slightly to the side.

I fake grimaced. "Gross."

We went to our rooms with 'bad nights'.

I can't get the bad feelings out yet, but seeing him happy was enough .
