Zeke's POV
"Hello?" I said answering my phone. It was Shawn.
"Aye bro, where you at?"
"The trap house, we aint seen you lately. Where you been?" I know exactly where he's been. I see him and his girl all over New York. I'm suprised he aint told us about her yet.
"Around. Aye, im on my way bro, got things to tell yall..."
"Iight then," I say and hang up.
"Chris, bro coming by. Said he had something to tell us."
"Good, I aint heard from bro in a minute."
"I know right. Aye, where is Trey and Tyrone?"
"Out back, they got into a big argument over a hoe. Can't decide who saw her first," he said through his laughs.
"Yeah, that sounds like them," I said, as I watched Shawn walk through the door.
"Bro, whats good?!" I say, getting up to dap him.
"Aye, everything man."
"Tyrone, Trey, getcho asses in here," I yelled. When they walked in, Trey caught a little attitude.
"Not this nigga," Trey said, rolling his eyes.
"Look, im not trying to stay here all day. I just need to tell yall something."
"And what is that?" I say, taking a seat around the round table in the middle of the room.
"Look...I uh, met this girl..." Here we go. "...and I'm going to Jersey with her next weekend. The reason I'm telling yall this is because I don't know how much longer I can keep up with this gang shit." Whoa. I wasn't expecting that.
"So you just gunna let some bitch decide weather you should stay or not?" Tyrone asked.
"First of all her name is Marie. And second, she doesn't even know that I'm here," He said, defensively.
"Bro, its cool," I said, speaking for everybody. "If things don't work, you can always come back to us."
"Thanks man. Aye, gotta go finish getting ready, but I'll see y'all around, iight?" Shawn said standing to leave.
"iight bro, good luck with everything," I said, and he was gone. Now I will admit that I was a little pissed when Shawn said he had to leave us but that was my homeboy. I've known him the longest out of all my boys and I'll always be behind him, whatever he does.
"I can't believe that nigga. Just gone leave us for some trick?!" Tyrone yelled.
"Shit, I'm just glad the nigga is gone," Trey said. Shawn and Trey never really got along. Trey had too much mouth for Shawn's liking, but for the sake of eveyone else, they kept it together.
"Well, I understand him. Kalah and I been getting along pretty good too," Chris chimed in.
"Just chill y'all, it aint like he's turning against us. He just needs to take care of his own, y'all should try it." I say, laughing.
"Yeah, well whatever man, thats all him," says Trey. Him and Tyrone return outside to finish their argument and Chris jets to go chill with his girl. And me? I chill and smoke my blunt because all is good with me.
LaShawn's POV
If feels good to tell my boys about Marie. I didn't want them to find out any other way, so I was relieved when I left the trap.
After I leave, I head back to Marie's place. I took off work for the whole week so that Marie and I could get ready and spend time together before we left. I decided to call her and see what she was up to.
