The Test Subject (Yautja)

Part 8 "Playful"

Di'seh woke up early feeling well rested, he sat up straight and yawned flaring out his mandibles in the process, he then felt a raging headache which was weird he rarely got headaches. Di'seh rubbed his forehead trying to ease the pain but it didn't help.

Di'seh saw Lydia was fast asleep he nearly laughed when he saw how she was sleeping, her hair was a total mess and she snored slightly it was as if she just had a battle with a big creature and passed out right afterwards. Di'seh let out huffs of amusement so he wouldn't laugh out loud, waking her up in the process.

Di'seh as silently as possible walked out the so called lounge and made his way outside, he noticed the sun was barely showing through the trees he stretched his arms out but then stopped immediately stopped when he heard a strange noise. Di'seh shot his head to the left hearing an animal but was not so sure what type of animal it had a chirp like sound. Di'seh looked up following the chirping sound, he looked in a tree and spotted a colorful feathered creature, it stopped chirping and looked at Di'seh.

Di'seh cocked his head to the side and the creature did the same untill it flew away. Di'seh clicked out of curiosity with his mandibles he has never seen such a colorful creature before, he wanted to follow it and so he did. Di'seh followed the little feathered creature to see what else it does.

Lydia woke up, she felt stiff because for her the couch is uncomfortable to lay down for a long period of time. Lydia sat up straight and looked over to where Di'seh is, but Di'seh was not there and was no where in sight. Lydia quickly got up and looked around the cottage, she could not find him anywhere in the cottage which caused a major panick for her. Lydia went outside and saw Di'seh walking off into the nearby trees disappearing from her sight, she decided to follow him.

Di'seh kept listening for the little colorful chirping creature, following it out of his curiosity. Di'seh was now in a lush forest with very tall trees and he could not hear the little creature anymore, he heard leaves crunch under somethings footsteps. Di'seh crouched behind a tree and some bushes that hid his presence from whatever was coming his way. Di'seh saw a 4 legged creature almost like the 'cat' but it was bigger with horns and it was eating from the dense bushes surounding it. Di'seh clicked his mandibles by mistake and he noticed the creature turn its attention straight at his hiding spot with its ear flexed upwards.

Lydia watched Di'seh to see what he would do all alone in the woods by himself, at first it looked like he was hunting considering the stance he is using and the way he made his clicking sound but at the same time he just seemed to be admiring the Deer infront of him, Lydia hopes he is not hungry... 

Di'seh decided to have some fun and chase the creature in hopes that he can catch it, he wont hurt the creature he just want to have some fun. Di'seh charged out of his hiding spot after the creature he was surprised by its quick reaction and he saw it booked it and ran so fast dodging so many objects at once. Di'seh noticed it was quite fast and with all the logs and rocks in the way he decided to do what his father showed him to do which is jumping onto the tree branches one after the other.

Di'seh quickly climbed a tree he hesitated to jump onto the other branch on another tree but since the creature was getting away he needed to act fast so he jumped and landed on the other branch. Di'seh was having doubt that jumping on tree branches was not such a great idea considering he almost fell at first try.

Lydia watched how quick Di'seh was, when seeing him in the trees he looked like an overgrown scaly monkey which was the image she got in her head. Lydia thought Di'seh was hungy seeing him chase that Deer. Di'seh was pretty fast and a lot faster then Lydia no doubt. Lydia continued following she had to pick up her pace to see what would happen next.

Di'seh was right above the creature and noticed it's speed decreased. Di'seh leaped out the tree and onto the ground right next to the creature, he grabbed it by its horn and put his other hand under its stomach. Di'seh lifted the creature off its feet and made a body slam into the dirt, pinning the creature down on its side.

Di'seh held it down till it would stop moving once it stop moving, Di'seh couldn't help but let a pleasurable growl slip out his mouth knowing that he caught such a quick beast. Di'seh felt its tough fur under his palm and felt it panting heavily. Di'seh then heard more foot steps behind him he quickly turned his head and saw Lydia.

Lydia slowly walked up to Di'seh untill she got spooked by him turning his attention to her so quickly and the fact that he looks defensive with that stare of his. "Lydia:Whoa Di'seh chill it is only me." Lydia watched Di'seh he never took his eyes off of her for one second he lifted his hands and the Deer got up and ran away.

Di'seh decided to have some more playful fun since he hasn't done anything fun for a long time he decided to chase Lydia he will make sure to disarm her weapon from her. Di'seh stood up and stalked towards Lydia who now looked confused and frightened at his sudden stance.

Lydia walked backwards when she saw Di'seh stalking towards her she even heard him growl dangerously at her. Lydia was now wanting to run but since she witnessed his speed that completely overpowers her own, she thought against it.

Di'seh watched her facial expressions she seemed so lost in thought. Di'seh quickly snatched her gun and growled at her "Di'seh:I would run if I were you Lydia." Di'seh reached out to grab her wrist but she dodged him and ran as fast as she could, she was pretty quick but Di'seh could catch her easily.

Lydia was so confused and terrified to why Di'seh was doing this, was he hungry? Does he want to kill her? Was all he did a Pretend? Lydia had fear consume her not only can she not out run Di'seh, he took her only weapon of defence from her in such a quick motion one thing he is 5 metres away in a blink of an eye he is right infront of her with her gun in his hand telling her to run.

Lydia mostly running away in fear, knew she was foolish to think Di'seh was a friendly Male Alien when he was actually manipulating her to get close enough to her so he can kill her, well atleast that's what she thought.

Di'seh gave Lydia a head start before he started running after her still holding her weapon so he doesn't lose it. "Di'seh:Let the hunt begin" Di'seh charged through the lush forest after her hoping he can catch her with ease.
