The Test Subject (Yautja)

Part 36 "Changes"

Lydia moved backwards and physically saw Di'seh flinch from her sudden movement she looked at his dark and light blue eyes seeing pain and fear. "Lydia:Di'seh..." Lydias voice started to have a type of soft screech to it. Di'seh took one step back but he stopped and stood still when he heard footsteps outside the door and a muffled voice on the other side "No don't go in there that room is off limits." then the footsteps faded away with Di'seh giving off a sigh.

Di'seh turned his attention back to Lydia who looked... Afraid but mostly sad. Lydia stopped looking at Di'seh and just hung her head low. Di'seh slowly approached Lydia but he was still frightend of her "Di'seh:What... Happend to you?" Di'seh had to look Lydia over before finishing his sentence. Lydia held her arms whilst taking a step back feeling insecure about the whole situation their in and it didn't help with her thoughts either.

Di'seh was now in arms reach to Lydia but he was so uncertain if this is Lydia or not "Di'seh:I need to know if this is really you. What did Lydia do to show her kindess to me for the first time?" Lydia looked up at Di'seh with a frown but then smiled when she remembered "Lydia: would it be when I wacked Dante on the face and brought you proper nourishment or when I had my hand against yours on the glass and you... Purred." Di'seh grew wide eyes 'so she did notice me purr back then.' Di'seh suddenly grew flushed and made his version of a huff chuckle "Di'seh:Ah ok it is you" Lydia giggled at his behavior.

Di'seh gently took Lydias arm in his hand and pulled her right against him into an embrace as he warmingly wraps his hulking arms around her but then pulls back and examines her "Di'seh: How are you feeling? Any pain?" Lydia moved her clawed hand to her head and scratched it "Lydia:Only slight head pain but it is mild it isn't intense." Di'seh bent down onto his knee and grabbed Lydias tale "Di'seh:I wonder if you can be changed back to normal" Lydia didn't even feel Di'seh touch her tail but she bent down onto both her knees and looked up at Di'seh "Lydia:I think I can be and it is from the one who turned me into this... Dr Groves." Di'seh growled when he heard that name.

Di'seh felt the black boney tail in awe because he has never held something of this texture before and since it was Lydia and not an actual xenomorph he would most likely have been killed already. Lydia's eyesight started to get a weird blur when her head pain increased to the intensity of the light.

Lydia ignored the blurry eyes and just flicked her tail slightly instantly feeling Di'seh squeeze his hand tightly around her tail while having his head facing the blade of the tail and his free arm in a defensive position. "Lydia: Nawww is the big boy scared of little me?~" Di'seh turned back to face Lydia but as he turned he felt himself get pushed back facing the ground he faced Lydia with wide eyes "Di'seh:Lydia?..." Lydia giggled while hugging Di'seh against his abdomen then pulled back to look at him "Lydia: Come on we better find Dr Groves." Lydia got off Di'seh and lent a hand to help him up.

Di'seh sat up half, on his elbows and when he grabbed Lydias hand he wanted to pull her towards him but what surprised him is that Lydia pulled him up off the ground and onto his feet. Lydia was also surprised just as Di'seh was, she looked at her hands, shrugged and walked towards the door "Di'seh:I...you... Okay." Lydia chuckled but as she did she bent to one knee holding her head from the pain that started surging more through her head.

Di'seh quickly made his way next to Lydia and helped her to stand up and when she looked at him he grew widened eyes from seeing that her once beautiful green-brown eyes have now turned completely black. "Di'seh:We need to get Dr Groves and fast. I believe you are still changing... You might even be changing into a complete xenomorph." Lydia grew sad,angry and surprised she didn't want this at all 'Why did they do this to me? Would I lose my memory when I completely change?' Di'seh could see the panic attack surfacing off of Lydia from looking at her face expressions and body language.

Di'seh wrapped his arms around Lydia and hugged tightly "Di'seh:You'll be okay. Everything will be fine." Lydia relaxed into the hug even though it feels weird because of her boney body. Lydia took 2 deep breaths to calm down "Lydia:Okay... Okay... Lets find him." Di'seh purred again while hugging Lydia then nuzzled the side of her face with his mandibles giving her a slight surprise from the action.

Weyland and Dr Groves watched the two on the cameras. "Weyland:This... This could change everything I have worked for." Dr Groves looked back at Weyland who moved away looking lost in thought "Dr Groves: what are you on about... Its what we worked for." Weyland walked back to Dr Groves angrily when he stood up "Weyland:This is my company not yours." "Dr Groves:Na-a-a remember our contract mister Weyland, and if you so break that contract I won't hesitate to exploit what you have been doing behind the walls, keeping secrets from the public and government... not to mention that aliens have been discovered and exist." Weyland cursed himself as he walked away in pure anger.

Weyland came back eventually towards Dr Groves who had a small smile on his face "Weyland: you need to cure Lydia Mason she cannot stay a xenomorph..." "Dr Groves:And why is that?" Weyland walks around in circles thinking before he went up to Dr Groves and spoke in a menacing manner "Weyland:Because there is going to be major changes to this whole project of ours..."
