Lydia stared at Doctor Groves in shock. "Lydia: Wait wait wait wait back up just a minute you want me to do what now!?" Doctor Groves sighs shaking his head slightly "Dr. Groves: I want to test how the Yautja does to a totally new environment, so I need you to be with him in the environmental dome." Lydia paced around the office almost pulling her hair out when gripping it. "Dr. Groves: I watch everything he does even when I'm not there I've seen how friendly he is around you, your the only one he trusts believe it or not." Lydia stopped in front of Dr. Groves and looked at him as if he was a crazy man. "Lydia: With all due respect Dr. but Di'seh is not someone anyone should be around within physical contact he is a 9-foot bulk alien that can snap me in two like a twig. What if he turns against me? Just because he didn't do anything to me when I healed him doesn't mean he won't kill me when he has the chance." Dr. Groves chuckled "Dr. Groves: Well Lydia you are ordered to watch over him are you not?" Lydia was about to say something but then just shut her mouth and huffed in anger crossing her arms over her chest. "Dr. Groves: since we got that out of the way my guards will escort you to the dome and to gate 3 where the Yautja will be released, good luck marine."
Dr. Groves walked off in another direction when a few scientists came up to him with paperwork. Lydia looked at the 2 men with full-body armor and Assault Rifles "Lydia: Alright boys so how do we play this out?" the one man chuckled and grabbed her arm pulling her with him. It didn't take long before they shoved her into the dome and of course, they didn't take her to gate 3 in the dome.
Lydia walked along the edges of the dome and came along gate 3 she sat in front of it picking up twigs and breaking them. Lydia saw red lights spin above the gate she stood up then heard alarms and something big unlocking. Di'seh was feeling fear and curiosity swoop him when he heard something unlock from his chamber he walked up to the sound and then saw a whole wall slowly open. Di'seh could smell the fresh air and see light shine through the small gap from the opening of what now appears to be a giant gate.
Di'seh waited for the whole gate to open, once it did he saw a face he has not seen in 3 days since that testing day. Di'seh slowly came out of the room. He stared at the grass, taking a step in it before placing the other as well. Di'seh loved the feeling of the grass it has been years since he last felt grass under his feet. he looked up only to be greeted with Lydia staring at him in fear.
Di'seh took a deep breath then walked up to Lydia as calmly as possible. Lydia closed her eyes thinking Di'seh was going to hurt her, but to her surprise, nothing happened. Di'seh gently puts his arms around her small human body lifting her off the ground giving her what they call a hug, purring softly as he did so to show he is posing no threat to her.
Lydia wanted to get up and run but she was frozen in place and knew very well that Di'seh could catch her with ease. She was tense when she felt arms around her body, but she then realized he was hugging her. "Di'seh: It is good to be with you again Lydia, you had me worried that I would not see you again." Lydia's muscles stopped being tense and she hugged him back while opening her eyes "Lydia: Sorry, Di'seh, I just needed space after what happened..." Lydia noticed Di'sehs deep purring it vibrated off of his chest making Lydia speak weirdly as if she was speaking into a fan. Di'seh realized his purring but he didn't stop it.
Lydia pulled away from the hug "Lydia: So the reason why you here is..." "Di'seh: Because testing I know... It's my first time into nature for years." Di'seh stopped purring and looked around curiously "Di'seh: Is it just you in this place?" Lydia cocked her head slightly at him seeing fear on him but only slightly, she looked at him normally when he looked back at her. "Lydia: Yes it is just me in here with you, but just know I am watching you so don't try anything."
Di'seh recalled the horror in Lydia when she witnessed him kill the male counterpart of herself, he can never forget her face, he felt bad for letting her see that even if it was swift it showed her that he can overpower her easily even though she already knew from the beginning. "Di'seh: Lydia just know I will never hurt you, it is not in my nature to harm ones I respect, you have been nothing but kind and caring towards me, and for that, I will do the same for you."
Lydia nearly burst into tears she had never had anyone say that to her not even her mother said something like that. Di'seh put his hand on Lydia's face and moved her tears away "Di'seh: Why do you cry? Is it because you fear me still?" "Lydia: No, no, no, it's not that at all it is just no one has ever said something like that to me before, thank you Di'seh." Di'seh let out a happy huff "Di'seh: Your welcome Lydia and people should say things like that more often to you because you are." Lydia hugged Di'seh again but slightly tighter this time. Di'seh hugged back purring.
Lydia and Di'seh walked through the trees after their reunion. Lydia spotted a medium-sized cottage "Di'seh: At least there is a place for you to stay when you are in your relaxing mood." "Lydia: Yeah at least, and who says it's only mine?" Di'seh was surprised Lydia was willingly sharing the human-built structure with him. "Di'seh: Are you implying that I must stay with you?" Lydia nods yes and they go to it, an adventure has just begun.
