After Basil had shown Dawson the letter, there was a long, stunned silence.

"Are you sure it's nobody playing with us?" Felicia suggested.

"I wish that were true, Miss Kitty." Basil replied, underwhelmed.

The five of them were stood around the letter, studying it to attempt to investigate whom had written it.

Outside, thunder and lightening were crashing, louder than ever. It was terrible evening.

Basil got out his magnifying glass and went over every little detail he could find on the paper. They all watched him carefully, waiting for either either a clue or an answer.

"I can easily tell..." said Basil, scrolling the glass from left to right on the letter, "that this letter was written by a female. The handwriting is italic- clearly at the time she was in a rush to write it, due to the writing being joined up and her s's hard to point out. It is an emergency." He stood up, whilst lowering his magnifying glass.

Just then, there was a knock at the door. They all turned their heads to the door at the same time. They all looked at one another, to see who would offer to answer. Everyone was hesitant.

Mrs Judson scoffed and head up the stairs to answer.

Outside, was Olivia. She had a suitcase and backpack; she was soaked to the bone with the pouring rain, that was still chucking it down as she sheltered under the small roof at the front of the door.

The door in front of her, pulled open, making a creaky noise. Mrs Judson let the soaking girl talk.

"I'm sorry to disturb you, but is Basil of Baker Street here?"

"He is indeed." Basil said, shooting from behind Mrs Judson.

"Basil, it's you!" Olivia exclaimed, excited.

"Yes?" He had no idea who she was.

"Come on, let's get you out of the rain." Mrs Judson suggested, taking her suitcase inside.

As she entered her hero's flat after ten years, she looked around, amazed. It hadn't changed a bit since she were last there. Inside down by the desk were Dawson, Marion and Felicia, waiting to greet their new visitor.

"Dr Dawson!"

"Olivia?" Dawson said, doubting himself at first, but then, as she smiled, his memory came back to him. "Oh my goodness! Olivia!" He reached his arms apart and took a few steps forward.

They both as Olivia ran to him for a big hug.

Basil looked at Olivia, and thought, 'no, it can't be.'

Mrs Judson whispered to Basil, "It's her! Olivia Flaversham! The little girl you helped to rescue her father and defeated Ratigan."

Basil's face brightened with amazement.

Mrs Judson ran towards Olivia and hugged her. Olivia was getting introduced to Dawson's new wife and Felicia. Whilst she was congratulating Dawson, and getting her scarf, coat and hat taken to dry by Mrs Judson, Basil studied her. He truly couldn't believe that the little girl, that was so obnoxious to him, was all grown up, into a beautiful young lady. After a long conversation with everybody, he finally noticed that she turned around to face him.

"Do I not get a greeting from you?" She teased, walking towards him.

"It's so good to see you Miss..."

"Flaversham." She laughed. "You haven't changed a bit, Basil."

"You have certainly changed a lot." He replied, checking her up and down.

She laughed once more and wrapped her arms around him. "It's so good to see you." She whispered.

Feeling awkward, he hesitatingly placed his arm around her waist, whilst the other stroking her hair. Finally they both pulled away, looking deeply at each other.

Later, Olivia was sat by the fire, in the green comfy chair, drinking a cup of tea. Everyone else was asleep in the flat. Olivia was changed into dry clothes, from Mrs Judson. She was wearing a long thick shrug to keep her warm. Basil brought her the letter to clarify it was her.

"Olivia, did you write this?" He held it right in front of her face.

"Yes." She placed her cup of tea down on the side table.

Basil sat down on the red seat.

"What can I help you with, Olivia?"

"I..." Olivia started to shake. Her voice got squeaky whilst she began to cry.

'Not again.' Basil thought, as he pulled up a stool and sat in front of her and placed a hand on her knee and rubbed it.

"Take your time, Miss."

Olivia buried her face in her hands. Finally she shook it off and then wiped her tears away.

"Someone has my father, again."

Basil looked nothing but worried. It couldn't be. If it was who he thought it was behind it, his worst nightmare was coming true.

"I think Ratigan is still alive." She continued as a tear fell down her face.

Basil shook his head. "No... it's impossible." He stood up and started walking back and forth.

She stood up after him. "I wish I was fibbing, but I'm not." She said, crying. "I saw it with my own eyes. Look." She shown the picture of her father and Ratigan's thugs to him.

Basil looked at the photo in horror. He could recognize whom those thugs belonged to.
