*Cassandra's POV*

2 days later I was stuck with non other than Harold Edward Styles. It wasn't because I wanted too, who would?

I would be stupid to be hanging out with the guy I liked. The guy that doesn't like me back, the one that almost used me, the one who almost found out I liked him back if it wasn't for me making up an excuse.

Katie, Chloe, Gemma, and the boys better hurry up with the preparations for my huge 'surprise' birthday party.

"Cass can you please lighten up? It's your birthday!" Harry laughed as he shot me a goofy smile. I almost smiled back but looked away.

Yeah it's my birthday, and I'm spending it with the person I most despised. I said to myself as we walked down the same park that I had met up with Michael and Calum.

Ever since the night that the boys and Chloe found me at Calum and Michael's hotel, Harry hasn't been anywhere but at home with the lads and Katie, while I stayed in my room until he left.

It wasn't that I was shutting everyone out it's just, him. I didn't want myself to be near him because I knew I would fall for his green eyes again, and I didn't want that right now.

He had a stupid girlfriend and it was wrong.

"Why do you hate me?" Harry asked as he stood in front of me and blocked my way.

"Harry please move." I said as I tried to go around him but he followed my step.

"After you answer." he said with no expression.

"Because," I said not making eye contact. I didn't want to see his amused eyes.

"Because is not an answer." I finally looked up and he didn't have a smile nor his eyes show amusement, all he had was a straight face.

I tried to dig deep in those eyes, in that sea of green, trying to find something, a slant, a hole where I could see his real purpose but nothing.

All I saw was curiosity and hurting. Hurting for what? Because he couldn't get in my pants?

"You lied to me Harry." I whispered staring back at him. I couldn't hide all these feelings I was hiding back.

I didn't care anymore.

"About what that Kendall wasn't my girlfriend? Because that's the truth Cassandra." He replied stepping forward.

We were so close, I could feel his warmth penetrate in me. His smell filled my nose with delight but I wasn't giving in.

"Not just that Harry. You told me you loved me and you lied." I told him taking a step forward as well.

We stood there, chest to chest. In the middle of a deserted park where no one saw, where no one knew.

"I didn't." He whispered his eyes softening. I shook my head and smiled.

"Harry, if you really loved me you wouldn't have kissed her."

"And there you are again. I used to love that stubbornness you know. And I still do." he smiled.

I scoffed, "Harold I am not stubborn!"

"See." He smirked.

I rolled my eyes, and looked away feeling too close, feeling like I was letting myself fall like an idiot.

"How am I stubborn then?" I asked staying still.

"You hadn't let me explain." Harry said raising his hand, but I didn't flinch.
