I laughed as Michael started grinding on Calum and Calum just went with it. "Guys keep it G please! This isn't a night club!" I yelled over the music outside.
My mum decided that the living room was too small and crowded so she just decided to move the party outside where there was more room.
"You too!" I pointed to Luke and Katie as I watched Luke grab her waist and pull her closer.
Katie blushed and I laughed walking to the snack table, where all the food was laid out. There was pizza to eat because my mum was to lazy to cook I was assuming and the rest was junk food.
Chips, cookies, soda, crackers, and then the beer was at the bottom. I wasn't so excited about being 21 really. So what if I was legal to drink in California, it doesn't change me at all. I didn't really like the smell of beer anyway.
"Hey birthday girl!" Niall said slinging an arm around my neck. He smiled with a cup in his hand.
"Niall what are you drinking?" I asked, trying to see into the cup.
"I'm not drunk Cass, it's soda." Niall said grabbing a chip and letting me go. I sighed in relief.
"Thank God." I murmured. I wasn't going to lie, but drunk people scared me and I've never even dealt with one; ever.
"Anyways how old?" Niall asked, in between a handful of chips. I laughed.
"Niall there're plates you know." I said grabbing a plastic one, "21." I shrugged as he took it.
"So you're legal!" he cheered. I rolled my eyes and fist pumped the air in fake excitement.
"So what? I can drink, I don't even like beer." I said grabbing some juice.
"Well you're missing out." Niall said eating some fruit.
"Yeah totally, getting drunk, waking up to a hangover and forgetting everything about the night before." I rolled my eyes taking a sip.
Liam walked towards us and smiled at me, "Hey."
"Hi." I smiled back.
"What's going on here?" he asked as he stood next to me.
"Beer." Niall said plainly, eating.
"Beer?" Liam asked raising an eyebrow.
I laughed, "Just that I'm legal now."
"Oh, yeah don't mind Nialler." Liam smirked crossing his arms, watching my family dance around.
I watched with him, seeing some of my mum's closest friends, one that have seen me grow into the person I am now, faces that have become what I realized family, despite not having any blood related relationship. I smiled softly as I watched them all sharing sweet smiles and dancing.
"Guys guess what?" Louis ran towards us, with the rest of the boys behind him.
Michael stuck his tongue out at me and smiled. I rolled my eyes at him playfully.
"Yes Lou?" Liam asked as he tried looking bored.
"So I asked Cassie's mum if she had karaoke or at least microphones and she said yeah." He said excitedly looking at all of us. I looked up and found Harry's lingering eyes.
He smiled and walked next to me as Louis blabbered on. "Hello." he smiled.
I smiled back, "Hello Styles." I nodded. He glared playfully at me and I smirked.
