*Katie's POV*
"Let's go on the ferris wheel guys!" I smiled as my chin rested on Luke's shoulders.
"No I want icecream." Luke pouted as his grip on my legs tightened. I smiled and looked down, over to Cassandra and Ashton, they were both just staring at everything but us and each other
I sighed, I've known Cassandra for 3 years now, she's been my best friend and I know her more than anything. And right now I could feel tension and it wasn't good.
"I need to use the restroom." I said to Luke, he nodded as he carried me to the nearest restrooms.
I got off Luke's back and looked over at Cassandra who stared at her hands in front of her. "Cassandra come with me." I pulled her into the crowded restroom, as the huge line awaited us.
"Katie I can just wait outside, it's too crowded in there anyway." She shrugged. I shook my head and pulled her to a corner of the restroom.
"Cass, what's going on? You and Ashton are acting weird." I whispered. She shrugged.
"I don't know about him but I'm fine." She forced a smile, and I glared at her. "Katie," she sighed.
"You're gonna' tell me right this instant." I told her sternly. She rolled her eyes, "Or else I'll make a scene."
"You wouldn't." She stared at me and I raised an eyebrow giving her my look.
"Stop! I don't want your dru-" Cassandra sheepishly smiled at everyone and covered my mouth, cutting off my yelling.
"Stop it will you?" She begged, her green eyes going wide. "I'll tell you but not here." She shrugged.
"Where then?" I asked crossing my arms.
"We'll walk to get ice cream and make the boys wait in line. During the walk I'll tell you everything." She sighed. I grinned patting her head.
"See was that so hard?" I asked walking out the restroom.
"No that was so embarrassing." She huffed as Luke smiled when he catched my eye.
"That was fast considering the line." Ashton said as we started walking.
"It wasn't that long." I shrugged as Luke's hand entwined in mine. I smiled and hugged his arm as I leaned on it.
I was officially getting married to him. I smiled at him as I remembered our highschool years. The first time we met wasn't pleasant at all.
To me Luke was a punk ass idiot who did stuff just to be cool. He wasn't popular either, even if he was a transfer no one really payed attention to Ashton and him. Besides their accents of course.
We used to hate each other then, always glaring at each other, or just fighting. But I won't lie I did like him. Well I started showing it after a blonde bimbo tried getting his attention. He was adorable and sweet in his own way.
Who knew that one day he would propose. If only she were here today to see us.
"So where are we going?" Luke asked as we neared the ferris wheel. I smiled up to him.
"Well I was thinking you and Ashton get in line, and Cassandra and I will get the ice cream."
"Sounds good." Luke grinned. We got the boys' orders and we started walking.
"I just don't know anymore Katie. I love Harry but then Ashton." Cassandra sighed. "I just, I heard what he said in the morning."
I smiled and wrapped my arm around her shoulder. "Cass, he really likes you."
"I know, and I just can't like him like that. But yet I just feel like loving Harry is a sin as well."
"Ashton will understand, he loves you. I'm sure he wants the best for you." I smiled.
"He kissed me." Cassandra huffed. We neared the ice cream shop and I grimaced.
I opened the door for us and Cassandra walked in first. The aroma of sugar and different flavors filled my nose and I smiled, feeling the familiar scent.
"What happened after?" I asked getting in line. I turned to Cassandra and her eyes were dark.
"I pulled away and told him we should go. It was awkward after." Cassandra paused and stared at me. "Katie I don't think I can do this anymore."
"Cass I can't decide for you but one thing I can tell you is to follow your heart. Sometimes it seems wrong but trust me, in love there's no mind, no brain, just heart and soul." I told her with a small smile.
"When did you become so deep?" Cass asked smiling. I shrugged.
"Marriage changes you." I wiggled my finger in her face and she laughed.
"Whatever Katherine." She pushes my hand away and I smile.
"Now would it be too much to ask if you could forget about the world and just enjoy?" I asked. Cassandra shook her head.
"No it wouldn't. You're right, we're in Disneyland for fucks sake!" Cassandra smiled. I gave a thumbs up.
"There's my Cassie I know and love." I grinned, as I pulled her in for a side hug.
The rest of the day was spent in our fun. The four of us acted like five-year-olds on a sugar high and we had so much fun.
Ashton and Cassandra finally smiled at each other and started joking around. It was like a real group of friends hanging out.
I mean I won't lie I didn't like Harry that much. So what if he was in one of my favorite bands. I didn't know him, nor his intentions with my best friend.
But I knew he felt something deep for Cassandra and all I wanted was her happiness. As long as she was, I was too.
