Chapter Six

I'm putting some of my books on my locker, closing it afterwards.

"Thomas?" I hear a sweet, soft voice calling my name from not too far, and I turn my head, seeing Teresa right in front of me. She has her arms crossed around her books, her hair falling down her shoulders.

"Hey Teresa." I greet, my face turning into a smile. "Do you need any help?" I ask, picking my backpack and putting it on.

"Not really, but thank you. Everyone is really sweet with me and I think I already know where the most of my classes are." She chuckles, taking a strand of hair off of her face.

"I'm happy you are, and I'm sure you'll get used to things here." I smile down at her. "Have you made any friends yet?" I ask while walking down the corridor with her.

"A couple. I've met Sonya and Harriet. They're so funny! Always making me laugh."

"Well, I have more people you can meet. They're from my group as well." I say, walking towards the canteen where everyone is at right now, since it's lunch time.

"Oh, no Thomas." I stop and look back at her. "I don't know... I've arrived someays ago and I don't know if your friends will want me there."

I understand her, I do. But I'm pretty sure they'll love her. I mean, who wouldn't?

"You seem to be an amazing person, and I'm sure they'll love you, trust me. Come on." I give her a reassuring smile, giving her my hand.

She takes it with a smile and we rush to the canteen.

I see Minho, Newt and the other guys waving at us when we enter the place.

Sonya and Harriet are also there and they rush to get Teresa and sit on our table.

"Teresa, you have to meet our friends!" Sonya excitedly says, taking Teresa's hand and sitting next to Newt.

I sit across from them, next to Minho and Winston.

"So, I'll start right here." Sonya starts, pointing at Newt. "This dumbass here is Newt, my brother." She says, as Newt greets Teresa with an "Hello".

"Then there's Frypan, Winston, Minho and Thomas." The boys all greet her, me included, even if we already know each other.

"And as you already know, Harriet." She chuckles, pointing at her friend. "Guys, this is Teresa."

Teresa smiles softly, greeting all the boys of the group.

"So, Teresa, tell us a little bit about yourself. You're part of our group already, so count on us for everything you need." Newt says, smiling kindly at her.

"Thank you." She smiles softly. "Well, my parents and I had to move due to their jobs and I got transferred to here." She says, looking at all of us.

"Good that. We hope you'll get well around here." Frypan says with his characteristic smile.

"Of course she will. Everything is perfect when I'm around." Minho chimes in, making another one of his sassy comments, smiling cheek to cheek.

"Did Sonya forget to tell you that Minho here is a complete idiot?" Newt jokes, glancing at Minho with a smirk, which Minho answers with a death stare.

We all laugh at their little moment and have fun during lunch time.
