Teresa's POV
Moving town is always hard. Specially when I'd rather stay here with my friends and people I've met during this last year of High School than return to my old house.
My parents decided that we should go back to our hometown since they were offered a new job that provides more security monetarily for my future, as they say.
There isn't much I can't do than accept. They've been my heroes since they took me out of the Children's House I was in, so for that I'm forever grateful. They've done so much for me, it's time for me to do something for them.
"We'll miss you so much, Ter, you don't even know." Sonya hugs me strongly as we meet at my house to have a sleepover.
"Sonya, I'm staying here for two more days." I say chuckling as I embrace her back. "When the time comes we'll say our goodbyes or else I'll start crying."
"You better come here to visit us sometime soon, got it?" Harriet asks seriously but then cracks a smile. Oh... how much she looks like Minho...
"Now let's go. Girls' night here we go!"
Spending time with Harriet and Sonya is always a fun thing to do, especially when there's stories to talk about.
We watched movies, ate pizza, and of course, had our girl's talks.
"Harriet, tell me, how are things going with Minho, hmm?" I ask playfully as we sit in a circle on my bed, already with our pajamas on.
She gives me a death glare, and I can't help but laugh my head off.
"You're obviously still into him." The words leave my mouth and a pillow is thrown at my face.
"Oh, shut up." Harriet exclaims before her expression softens a bit, before she looks down at her crossed legs and a slight blush forms in her cheeks.
"We're... closer." A smile forms on her lips and I can't help but feel delighted for them.
They've gotten slightly apart when Minho would forget dates with her, but what else is left to say? Minho is Minho... but he's a good guy after all.
"The guy really redeemed himself yesterday, huh?" Sonya wiggles her eyebrows, referring to the night of the Prom.
"What did he do?!" I ask excitedly because first, I am extremely curious to know what happened and second, I may or may not ship them together... yup, I'm definitely that kind of person.
"Let's say he said what every girl wants to hear." Harriet answers and I can't help the squeals that leave my mouth.
"You're so cute together, like, you're meant for each other." I comment before eating a bar of chocolate my parents left for us.
I see Harriet and Sonya exchanging glances and I furrow my eyebrows.
"What?"
"You seriously didn't see him giving her a bouquet of flowers, did you?" Sonya looks at me with a smirk on her face, and Harriet mirrors her expression.
"No... oh God, he gave you flowers?!" I exclaim as the two keep looking at me with a smirk on their faces. What in the world is going on with them?
"I guess you were too busy to see that." Sonya replies.
"What? What are you talking about? I was with Thomas the whole ni-" and then I get it. "Oh... come on!"
Sonya and Harriet burst out laughing at my beet red face and I throw myself on the bed, using a pillow to hide my face.
How they can get me so easily is what I try to understand the hardest.
"You might not have noticed us, but we noticed you two having your little moment. We left you alone then." Sonya explains as she moves the pillow from my face.
"We're just friends, nothing more." I say as I take a deep breath. This conversation is getting quite serious and I have no idea what to do.
"HMM HMM..." Harriet almost yells as she opens her eyes wide and lifts her eyebrows so high that I don't even knew she could. "Keep telling that, sweetheart."
"All I know is that you two certainly have something there that only you can't see." Sonya starts, her expression turning serious but with a soft smile. "And Thomas is a good guy. I've known him for almost all my life through Newt, and he's been always been kind and sweet with everything. You two should try something new. See what happens and then you'll make a decision." She finishes, looking over at Harriet, who nods at her statement.
"But I don't even know what he feels about me." I sigh, looking down at my hands. Honestly, the idea of him actually feeling something towards me and me having to leave in two days makes my stomach turn.
"You're kidding, right? The guy kissed you and looks at you like you're the only girl in the world and you don't know what he feels for you?" Harriet reasons, herself getting serious as well.
"I guess we'll have to wait and see." I say, their words still wandering inside my mind but trying my best to push them aside.
Yes, I know I feel something for Tom, but I don't want to ruin our friendship with deep feelings. I love him too much for that.
"Now let's get some rest, it's getting late, or early, I don't really know." I chuckle, causing the girls to laugh as well.
Yep, I definitely will miss them.
"Goodnight girls."
"Goodnight."
And we fall asleep almost immediately.
