Chapter 9

Bayley stood outside the coffee shop, watching Alexa shove the badge into Cathy's face. She smiled to herself and high-fived Sasha. She couldn't help but wonder what Alexa was telling Finn and Cathy, though.

Finn smiled as Alexa explained why she was going to arrest Cathy.

"How long have you known Cathy?" Alexa interrogated him. "Uh, five months. Why?" Finn asked. Alexa smiled at Finn.

"Well, because Cathy here has held me hostage in the past before. She is also guilty of shoplifting, and now she's guilty of holding Bayley hostage. I've called for backup and they're here now."

Finn turned to the window and saw blue and red lights. He smiled. Finally, the cops are here to take Cathy away! he thought to himself.

Finn turned back around to see Cathy in handcuffs, being taken away by Alexa and two familiar looking cops.

"Gallows?" Finn asked. "Anderson?" The cops turned around to see Finn.

"Bálor!" the two men said, walking to him and engulfing him in a hug.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, along with AJ Styles, were Finn's best friends in high school. The four were nicknamed "The Bullet Club" by their fellow students.

"So, Bálor, who was it you were trying to protect?" Karl asked.

"Her name is Bayley," Finn told them. "She's a really nice girl and she's amazing. She's also my girlfriend."

Bayley walked into the coffee shop after chatting with Alexa for a minute. She saw Finn sitting at a booth with some unfamiliar men.

Finn noticed her, because he yelled, "Bayley!" and waved her over. She went to his booth and sat next to them.

"Hey Finn!" she said. "Who are these two? Are they friends of yours?"

Finn smiled. "Bayley, I'd like you to meet Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. They were my best friends in high school."

Bayley smiled at the two men. "Well, any friend of Finn's is a friend of mine!" Bayley said. She stood up and opened up her arms.

"What is she doing?" Luke asked Finn. Finn chuckled. "She likes to hug people, it's her thing."

Karl and Luke looked at Bayley once more. Her smile seemed to have gotten bigger.

"Okay," Karl said, standing up and hugging Bayley. Bayley looked at Luke and held her arms open again.

Luke smiled, stood up, and hugged Bayley.

Finn got up and hugged the three as well.

It was an awesome day, especially for Finn.
