He Kept Me Sane

part 7:Lex's pov

I allowed the small boy to walk in the house and Andy brought the girls into the nursery while me,Em,and Gerard kept an eye on Frank. He was looking around the mansion in complete awe. Gerard seemed to be in a deep train of thought since he was staring off in the distance. My anxiety got the best of me and I started to worry that Gerard still had feelings for Frank. A tear rolled down my cheek and I quietly said,"I will be back hold on." And walked to me and Gerard's room. I walked to the closet and pulled out a little stuffed animal that Gerard gave me a while back. It was like a security blanket to me. It was a little black cat with green eyes. He truly does know me.
I hugged the cat and slid down the wall crying silently. I get so emotional over the tiniest of things. Even though Gerard probably does not like Frank, my head won't think so. After a few minutes I was fine. I put the cat back and walked back to the living room. I was met with the sight of Frank,Gerard,Em,and Andy all on our huge couch.
I walked over to a recliner chair and sat down. I looked at the boy who was playing with his fingers. Em and Andy were looking at me concerned. And Gerard looked uncomfortable. I began,"Frank, you have ten minutes to explain whatever is happening. Starting now." Frank looked up and started,"Back when I was thirteen I was a really smart guy and I made a cloning device. It was originally to make them do things that I did not want to do. Like school and stuff. But then one day they all had their own personalities and thoughts and opinions. Like they were their own people. Unfortunately whenever I tried to work on the device to change this, a clone with a rather lunatic personality snuck behind me and killed me. Now before you get scared, many clones died and only six remain. Well now five. We were one of each personality. Sad,happy,mad, crazy,lover,and depressed. I am the happy personality and thankfully, you killed the crazy one. Any questions?"
Gerard piped up and said,"well which one did me and Em date?" Frank smiled and asked,"well what did he dress like?" Em replied,"In a lot of black and red." Frank snickered and said,"Sounds a lot like lover. He, uh, he is pretty affectionate." Then he winked.They both turned red and me and Andy laughed really hard.
"It seems like our original was really interested in you guys. Who met him first and what age?" Frank asked as Gerard said,"I did when we were..." Gerard stopped and his face lost all color. "Honey? What is wrong?" I asked. He looked up and said,"I met him when we were thirteen..." And we all looked at each other while Gerard said,"So he is dead. I met him and dated a clone. And the real Frank is dead." Frank said,"Oh yeah he liked you. We all did. If he liked someone so did we. Lover got to you first. Now that he is long gone so is our ability to love someone properly. So I will never be able to love someone,sadly."
We all just stared at him in sympathy and realized how lucky we are. "I am still a lil salty that multiple men or clones or whatever liked my husband." I said as Gerard replied,"I am a catch! These hips don't lie and you know it baby girl!" As he got up and legit gave me a lap dance. This man I swear.
I laughed and Gerard sat back down. He does not show his sass much around Em and Andy, even though we all know he has it, however whenever it comes to me it is a different situation. "I should probably go check on the girls I will be back. I will also check on the lil dude too." I said as everyone said "Thank you!"
I went upstairs and checked on them all and Blair was a lil hungry. I picked her up and went downstairs and made a bottle,then sat down with the rest. This time I sat next to Gerard. Frank's face lit up and he screeched "A baby! Which one is it? Is it Blair? Can I hold it? Please!" I laughed and said,"Yes it is a baby, Yes it is Blair, and only for a few minutes she does not like many people." When I got up to walk over to Frank Andy quietly mumbled "mood." And they started giggling. Idiots live under this roof.
