Jungkook's P.O.V.
I was sitting on the edge of the basketball court and savoring my cake as I was watching my members play. I usually really loved playing with them, but today I wasn't in the mood. Not even the cake had taste - I ate it just because I didn't want to disrespect Minnie. Life didn't have taste after Lisa had rejected me.
"Jungkook, what's wrong?" Jimin asked as the other boys were taking a water break. He patted my back slowly, and smiled at me.
"Nothing, hyung", I said, and kept looking down, avoiding his gaze.
"Yes, there is something wrong. If you were okay, you would have played with us."
Shit, he caught me. Jimin hyung always doubted my lies, which was annoying as heck.
"Okay, fine, I'll tell you. Soyeon locked Lisa and I in Minnie's dressing room, and as we were there trying to escape, I confessed to Lisa and asked her if we should date, and she literally said no."
"WHAT?!" Jimin hyung seemed even more shocked than I was. In fact, he seemed so shocked that I was scared he was going to have a heart attack right there.
"Yeah, as you heard. She said no to me", I sighed.
"Well that is very strange. I thought I heard Minnie say something about her hiding in her locker and watching your Rainism performance on her phone."
"Your girlfriend is probably making stuff up, since Lisa rejected me", I said, trying not to get angry.
"I'm sure she'll change her mind pretty soon", Jimin hyung said, and patted my shoulder once again. "I know she likes you."
He returned to the game, and let me sit there and think. When I heard a voice from behind me.
"Jungkook!"
It was Lisa, who looked like she had just ran an entire marathon.
"I...wanted to tell you something", she began as she was catching her breath.
I just nodded, too sad and tired to say anything to her.
"I talked to Soyeon...and..."
I widened my eyes. Lisa and Soyeon had a conversation? Wow, shocking.
"She approves of us. Actually, when I asked her to be friends, she said no, we should be like sisters. Sisters! Can you believe it? And she said she's completely over you."
She sighed and continued.
"Truth is, I rejected you because I was scared of her. I really like you, Jungkook. In fact..."
She paused and continued again. A wide smile formed on her face.
"I love you. Let's be together."
I stood up next to her, caught her hand, and pulled her into a tight hug.
"Always."
