"I'm heading out!" I shouted out to my parents as I left through the front door of my house.I was on my way to the woods after realizing that I had forgotten my notebook.
I went over there right after school, looking for some peace and quiet. It was already dark so I made sure to bring my pocketknife with me, you probably already understand why I mean come on I'm a girl alone in the woods, I'm vUlnErAble.
The cool air made me shiver but I continued walking along the street until the all too familiar trees popped up in the distance.
I jumped over the fence that clearly had the words written out 'NO TRESPASSING' and started walking up the dirt path. The wind seemed to get more harsh as I walked up higher on the hills and near the area I was studying.
The hairs on the back of my neck stood up as I felt an uneasy tingle settle over me at the thought of being out here alone.
I ignored the feeling and pulled out my flashlight to look for my notebook. I shined the light all around the bushes, mainly the rock I had been sitting on earlier.
I soon caught glimpse of the hard red cover. I bent over and reached towards it. As my fingers brushed over the material, what sounded like a missile, flew above my head causing a rush of air to move the trees around me. I whipped my body in the direction of it in time to see and hear it crash.
I looked towards the crash in shock as it left behind a trail of smoke in the air. I quickly picked up my notebook and started to follow the smoke.
I held onto the trees as I got closer to the object that made an indent to the ground. I covered my face with my arm and coughed from the smell of gas. I tried waving it away as I slid down the dirt slope and ended up right in front of the object that was in the air.
It looked nothing like an airplane or anything of the sort, so what was it then?
I scanned the object, looking for a type of entrance.
I flinched away when the object made a loud beeping noise. A door from the object opened, blinding me with the white lights inside. I shielded my eyes from the light with my arms and slowly lowered them to try and see what was inside. My body spiked with anxiety once I saw that a person was in there, more specifically, a girl.
She was curled up inside, I starred at her for a few seconds before going inside to pick her up.
I carried her bridal style out of the object and placed her on the ground. My heartbeat was erratic by now, I didn't know what to do or who to call in a situation like this, all I could do was stare at the stranger before me. I brushed her hair out of her face but kept my hands against her head.
I stared at her for what seemed like hours, unable to take my eyes off her. I jumped a little when I heard a small whine come out of her mouth.
Slowly, she began to open her eyes and blinked for a few seconds before looking up at me. I pulled my hand away from her and continued to stare at her.
She was gorgeous I couldn't deny that. She stared back at me with the same awe-struck look on her face as me. Something about her felt familiar but there was also this other feeling when I looked at her, I couldn't pinpoint what it was but it felt amazing.
She reached out her pale hand towards my face until it finally rested against the side of my face, cupping my cheek. She pulled my face towards hers and I closed my eyes expecting her to do what would normally happen when someone grabbed your face like this. But, it never happened.
I was expecting this stranger to pull me into a kiss, which, I was strangely ok with. Yet, she stopped my face when it was only an inch away from hers. I opened my eyes to see her eyes scanning my face with curiosity. My awkwardness started to build up at the situation and I spoke up.
