"Jiwooooooo..." you called out, feeling the space in the bed next to you empty.

"Yes?" you heard her muffled voice shout back from the inside of the bathroom.

"Come back to bed~" you whined while cuddling into your blankets, missing her warmth.

"At least let me finish peeing, y/n." You groaned while rolling to her side of the bed.

Finally, the door to the bathroom opened and Jiwoo walked out in a big T and short shorts.

"You're such a big baby, you know that?" She said while rolling you over to your side so she could slide in behind you.

Pressing her front against your back, you smiled as her arms wrapped around your waist, feeling her snuggle her head against yours.

"Did you wanna do anything today? you know before our winter break ends and we have to get back to school."

"Ughh don't remind me...but actually I do have an idea."

"Which is...?" she mumbled against your hair.

You turned in her arms to face her, your faces mere inches from each other.

"I've always wanted to try ice skating..." you suggested.

She raised her brows at this in surprise.

"Really? Are you sure you wanna do that before  our break ends?" She spoke while rubbing your back in soothing circles.

"Yeah of course, why are you so surprised?" she pursed her lips and looked away trying to look for the right words.

"Well...y/n... it's more so I'm worried because-you know- y-you can be a little...Uhm... a little clumsy and I just don't want you to end up getting hurt." You looked at her somewhat offended but also touched that she cared about you getting hurt.

"I'm not that clumsy gosh... I can handle myself- PLUS! there's going to be railings that will help me..."

She grimaced at the thought of you clinging onto the rail the whole time, struggling to keep yourself up.

"Oh come on Jiwoo! Please~?" you whined pushing yourself closer to her.

She sighed and couldn't help but smile at how cute you were.

"Fine. Just don't get hurt, please..."

"I told you s-"

"Don't even finish that sentence."

You glared while Jiwoo chuckled as she watched the medics carry you out of the rink in a wheelchair.

Jiwoo was indeed right about you being clumsy. You spent the first thirty minutes clinging onto the rail because you had never skated before in your life while Jiwoo skated freely by your side, sometimes drifting away to lap you and show off just how much of a prodigy she was.

After you grew a bit more comfortable with the technique and balance, you finally let go of the rail. Jiwoo smiled at you adoringly and cutely cheered you on as she saw you make a lap without even stuttering. Eventually, you both held onto the hands of each other as any other cliche couple would do in the ice ring and skated around.

It was on your last lap where everything went downhill.

Jiwoo was already waiting outside the ring for you, exhausted and simply watching you as you finished the remaining amount of energy you had left. You promised it was your last lap, and just as you reached her side of the rink you felt the need to show off and attempted lifting one leg up. Big mistake as. you felt the skate get stuck in an ice pile that had collected along the edge of the rink from other skaters.
