"So this is where all of your syrups will be for when you need to restock. The ice machine is automatic so you won't have to worry about refilling that...other than that, do you have any questions before you start?" You looked at the empty club before looking at your trainer.

"No, I think I'll be fine."

"Great! Also, one more thing, just so you're not caught off guard when it happens, a lot of the strippers take their breaks in the back of the bar, mainly because they have more privacy and can rest before their next show...but just so you don't get scared if one of them pop up back here unannounced," he finished.

You nodded your head in understanding while starting to organize your dishes for the incoming customers.

"No complaints here," you didn't mind being around strippers, it was a job anyways same with you as a bartender, it was a job.

"Alright then, Monday should be clocking in soon to help you with the rush once it hits around ten but you should be fine on your own for a bit," He waved you goodbye and headed out while you let out a sigh and mentally prepared yourself.

Hopefully, tonight would go smoothly and there wouldn't be too many crazy incidents. Especially with drunk people, fights are just bound to happen tonight.

"Hey!"

You jumped in surprise at the voice and turned to see a brunette with a glowing smile.

You had to admit she was quite adorable.

"Hi..." you answered a bit awkwardly before turning away to continue fixing your things.

The girl walked forward and leaned over the counter to get your attention again.

"Are you new here? You look new," she said.

"Uhm yeah first day...you?" You had to admit you were a bit intimidated by the girl.

"Mmm I'm about to hit my one-year mark next week," she answered coolly while pulling up a stool to sit and face you.

You nodded your head while pursing your lips.

It was always awkward meeting new people and especially with you, there was no way in avoiding the awkward silence that always came with first encounters.

You cringed internally while pulling up a stool to wait for the clock to hit 9 pm, normally when the rush would start.

The girl was still sitting there, watching you curiously to see if you'd say anything.

She peged you for the shy type so she continued.

"So...are you going to school or just working?" You understood why she was asking these questions, she wanted you to get out of your comfort zone.

"Uhm, yeah...I go to community college so I'm just working to pay for school and Y'know extra bills.."

She nodded her head while scooting her chair slightly closer to yours.
