Chapter 12

Jisoo's POV

"PARK JINYOUNG!!!! I'm going to kill that guy!"

Jinyoung just posted a picture of me in our group chat. It was a picture of me sleeping with drool in my face. The reason why I'm going after him right now is that I never drool. He edited the drool and it seems real when it is fake.

I was going through room after room but I can't find him anywhere. "Go hide, Park Jinyoung. I'm going to ruin your ugly face when you show up."

"Jisoo, is that you?"

I heard a male voice while I was opening an empty makeup room that performers used before their stages for Inkigayo.

"Oh... Senior. Hello." I bow and greets him. He bows back at me. This moment will happen eventually. Sooner or later, we are going to meet. It's bound to happen.

"I was looking for you everywhere." Eh? He is looking for me?

"What's wrong, senior?" I asked.

"I just want to ask you why you never call me. Please, call me Junmyeon or whatever you want. Just don't call me senior. It makes me feel old." Junmyeon demands.

"Whatever I want? That's a little bit dangerous because I love to change other's people's names." I said as a joke.

"Oh no! Did I just give you a chance to call me with silly names?" He said that with a smile on his face.

I nodded my head with a smile. "By the way... What are you doing here, oppa? If I'm not wrong... EXO doesn't have any comeback to be in Inkigayo."

"Oh... I was having a meeting. Something about my appearance in a variety show but I don't think I can accept it. Because EXO is going to have a comeback." Junmyeon explained it to me.

"Oh, really? When?" I asked genuinely curious.

"Sometime after your comeback." He said.

Our comeback's teaser has been released. It was a single. After recording a million songs, we only got to a comeback with a single. That's the only song that the shareholders in our company agreed to release. We are not shocked about it because our seniors experience the same thing. They warned us about it.

"HYUNG!" I turned my back because that's Park Jinyoung's voice. I recognized his voice.

"Jisoo... Jisoo..." He pointed at me. Telling us that it was me that he actually called. Then Jinyoung said to me, "Do you know that he was looking for you?"

I'm still angry with Jinyoung. I just want to ignore him because he was pissing me off. I asked Junmyeon instead. "So what's the concept, oppa?"

"Ya! Kim Jisoo! Are you ignoring me?" Jinyoung said. I stepped on Jinyoung's foot while smiling at Junmyeon. "Argh... Is this about the picture that I posted on our group? Ya... Kim Jisoo... It was only you, me and Doyoung that are going to see it. Do you think Doyoung will tell anybody about it?"

Junmyeon's smile was getting bigger. Watching me and Jinyoung. "So the rumor was right. The chemistry of Inkigayo's MCs this year was really good because they are close to each other."

"What can I say I'm lovable..." I said.

"Whatever... By the way, I think Jaebum is looking for me. See you later, hyung." Jinyoung said while looking at his phone.

"Okay. Thank you for helping me. Trying to find her." Junmyeon said to Jinyoung while shaking their hands. Eh?

"Take care of her. I still need her for Inkigayo." Jinyoung said.

"Ya! Park Jinyoung! Wait for my revenge!" I said.

Jinyoung was just laughing while running.

"Okay. Since Jinyoung was already gone... Actually... You didn't call me so I thought I should ask you in person...." He said while scratching the back of his head. He looks nervous. "Jisoo, do you want to have a date with me?"

"Mmmm... I'm sorry, oppa. But I'm with someone." I said right away to him. Hoping it will work. It's a little disheartening to see his face changes but what can I say. I am with someone.

"Oh... Are you in a relationship?" He asked.

Aist... I can't say that I'm in a relationship when in reality, I don't know a thing about the status of my relationship with Seokjin. If I said to him that I am in a relationship, he will try to find out who I am with. If he can find it and he asks Seokjin if I am his girlfriend or not and Seokjin says I'm not his girlfriend, imagine the embarrassment that I'm going to get.

"Hmmm... It's not that I'm in a relationship but I'm unavailable because I have someone. We are dating but we still have not the commitment... yet... " I said to him trying to explain my situation.

"Oh.. I get it. Okay then... How about a dinner between a senior and a junior? I'm sure you're okay with that." Junmyeon said.

IF he put it like that then I'm in big trouble. I can't reject him with that. I'm going to be the ungrateful bitch of a junior that rejected a senior's invitation to dinner if he said something to someone and that someone decided to tell everyone in this business.

It will be more dangerous if my boss knows about this. He has the ability to know everything about his artists. The puzzle hasn't been solved. We are still questioning how he gets to know all the details about every single artist under his wings. I remember the story when my senior, Park Bom, told us about her rejected her senior's invitation to a drink. Our boss was angry with her and she got yelled at.

Getting harsh criticism about how I dance and sing is one thing. But getting yelled at because I rejected an invitation is going to annoy the hell out of me.

Ahhh.. The hell with it... I never said anything when Seokjin has drinks with his female friends. Sometimes I call him and he said he is having a drink with his friends. I can hear female voices in the background. Sometimes I recognized their voices. It's fine when you heard female voices and you don't know who that is. It still hurts but you don't know the person. It's something else when you hear those voices and you recognize it and then you have to see the person on the weekend at your workplace but you can't do anything about it. Plus you have to be nice to that person at work but then at the same time, you can't help it but think about what did they do when they were together.

"Please... I promise you won't regret it..." Junmyeon begged me.

"How about... I choose the place?" I said to him.

"Hmm... My treat, my choice... Unless you want to pay for our dinner which I'm not going to let you.." He told me with his perfect smile.

"So I have no choice..."

He shakes his head. I scrunched up my nose. Okay then. I think I'm going to have to go with him to dinner.

Short update. I'm sorry I cannot give you a proper update. Because I was sick these past few weeks.

I can't believe that this book reached 1k. I know it's not that big of a deal since some people have 10k or 100k reads for their stories. But for me, it is a big deal. I just want to say thank you for liking it. Have a good day everyone...
