Disclaimer:

This is fiction. I just want to say I don't know what their companies will do if it happened in their real life. So this is me dramatizing the situation. I know the way some of you look at their companies. I'm giving you this warning also because I realize some people are looking at fanfiction like it's a real story. So I don't want you to see this chapter like I'm an employee from their companies telling you this is what they are going to do in this situation.

This is fiction. Read it like fiction. Respond to it like an imaginary story. That's it. Enjoy!

Jisoo's POV

Going back to my room after the whole day outside filming on a beach, I wasn't expecting 20 missed calls from Seokjin. He knows I'm filming a variety show in Thailand. He understands that I left my phone in my room while filming. He will not blow up my phone if he didn't have something to say and it's going to be important.

My company decided to rush filming our variety show in Thailand while some interior designers are renovating the Blackpink House in the middle of Seoul. The point is for us to have some distraction from my mess. While half of the company cleaning up the leftover from my scandal with the media and that makes half of us busy in a foreign country.

I walked to my bathroom with a plan to clean all of the leftover sands from the beach by taking a shower when Jennie shouts from our room. "Unnie!! You have a phone call."

"Aist! I'm going to take a shower." I answered. Before I said another word, Jennie is already inside the bathroom with my phone opened in her hand. She knows my password. I glanced at her and she already answered the call. I yelled at her, "Ya!"

"He is crying," Jennie said softly while dropping my phone on the counter and slipped out through the door.

"What?" I said confused. I took a look at my phone and it is Seokjin who has been calling me. Jennie left me with my phone on the table. I stared at it. Someone is crying. Seokjin? It took me a while to grab my phone. I walked to the toilet with my phone in my hand, closes the lid so I can sit on it. I answer the call, "Hello, oppa?"

I heard him snort. I don't know what happened so I'm trying to give him some time before saying a word.

"I love you." He said right away.

I was taken aback by his statement. He never said those words to me before. "Woah. Are you drunk?"

"No. You don't understand, Jisoo. I. Love. You." He said it again with some pressure on every word.

Seokjin just told me that he loves me. The words that I've been waiting for him to say to me. My response would be different if he said those words months ago. I would be happy for us because it means our relationship will grow into the next step. I can make him the happiest man alive. But, right now, I'm in the middle of a storm that he doesn't know about. Because I'm trying to save him from how strong the wind if it blew up in our faces.

I do love him. Oh... how I want to let him know. I would regret it if I said it back and I can't give him what he deserved from our relationship. I'm accepting some communication from him was already giving him false hope because I don't think that we can ever see each other again.

I'm craving to hear his voice. I need to know how he was doing. Even though I can't see him in person.

Seokjin's voice cuts my mind, "It's hurt me that you're always hiding something from me." He took a deep breath. "You're doing it again. Why do you always do that to us? What did I do to deserve this?"

I thought I can prolong this conversation with him as long as I can. I realized that I can't keep it any longer. All of the build-up emotions that I had while I was in a relationship with him. Our relationship was a ticking bomb from the start. His mother's warning. Lisa, Jennie, and Chaeyoung's doubt. Teddy's advice. Those photographs. I think it's time for him to know. To know that I made a deal with my company to save his career and mine.
