"Wait so sir, you are saying you have a place for me to stay and you are willing to take me in even though you have a son my age?" she asks as she licks her orange creamsicle ice cream right off her spoon.
"That is exactly what I am saying. You do not even no my boy so it is not likely that sex will even happen. If you do fall in love with him we do not have sexual relations before marriage, " the man says then glancing towards his son who is talking to the cash register.
"She used to come to seminary all the time with her best friend but her muslim father forbid her," he says coming back with his raspberry ice cream dripping on the floor and his chin.
"What in the world is seminary?" she asks looking concerned as they walk back through the woods but stop in front of a blue house.
"It is an early morning sunday school for high schoolers. We meet in somebody's house and they teach us different principles of the gospel," he says with a smirk.
"Oh that sounds interesting," she says and then scoots a little closer to Sam who wraps his arm around her slyly and she blushes even more than she had before.
"Oh it is and you will never guess who the teacher is," Mr Duncan retorts with a smirk.
"Is it you?" she asks taking her last bite of her ice cream and Mr. Duncan guides them to a blue Ram truck.
"Why yes it is young lady?" he says as he hops in the truck and unlocks the door. Savanna hops in the back and Sam follows her and she lays her head on his chest as they drive on forward.
"Samson, I love you too and I always have, thank you for never leaving me," she whispers in his ear and he turns to face her and kisses her lips slowly and passionately.
"Oh my queen, will you be my girlfriend," Sam asks with a smirk. Savanna decides it is better to show her answer so she does just that by kissing him right smack on the mouth.
"I will take that as a yes," he says with a smirk as he gets out and opens her door for her.
"Yes Samson," Savanna says flirtatiously.
"Alright you too just keep the lovey dovey stuff to a minimum in my house and at church, here cuddling and some kissing is fine just no make out sessions while I or your little brother are in the room," he says with a grimace. A younger Sam looking boy comes out of the front door.
"Did you kill anything good this time," he says with a high pitched voice.
"Only caught a girl," Sam says winking at Savanna who bites her fingernail and blushes.
"It is about time you got a girlfriend," he says and Sam gives him a wedgie.
"My name is Savanna and you are?" Savanna asks as they all walk inside the house.
"Daniel, and this is our baby sister Ruth," he says pointing to a curly little blonde headed girl with green eyes sitting in a high chair eating what looks like cheerios.
"I promise that is all she had before you guys got home," Daniel says lifting Ruth out of the high chair.
"What do you guys have? Since you are letting me stay here you must at least let me cook for you." Savanna says scavenging the kitchen to find five chicken breasts, pork chops, green beans, and a ton of phillipes pizzas.
"We have any type of meat you can name, broccili, green beans, gluten free bread, flour, and vanilla pudding mixes along with bringles chips in the pantry. My brother is allergic to gluten," he says and Savanna grabs out the pork chops and green beans.
"Do you guys have any seasoning?" she asks opening every cupboard as she just makes herself at home in the place.
"Our spices are in the lower cabinet by the fridge," Sam says and comes in and starts cutting and cooking the pork chops.
"You do not have to help. I know and love cooking," she says in Sams ear and then nibbeling it a little. He swipes her off and whips around.
"I know but I want to help you my love," he says and then turns back around.
"Welcome to the family!" Daniel, Ruth and their dad all scream as they raise glasses of milk.
