When they return the guy she remembers to be the bishop, the men in black and Susan is there.
"Bishop, his leg will be amputated," he begins and the doc with a bunch of nurses comes in taking him.
"First we are about to dress his hand wound and stitch it then he will be rushed," he says.
"Can I eat dinner?" Dan asks with a smirk drooling at the site of meatloaf.
"You can eat it as we stitch you Dan," the Doc says wheeling him off.
"Only family," he says eyeing Savvy and everyone else.
"She is family now, she comes," their dad says angrily and she grabs Sams hands who is almost in tears.
They begin putting anthestia in him so he is knocked out and cannot feel a thing and then they begin taking off loose burns.
Sam is squeezing her hand very tightly as the stitches begin and she lays her head on his chest as they sit in the hard wooden chairs and his heart skips his beat.
"How are you my love?" she asks and he sets her up and cries into her shoulder and she rubs his back comfortingly.
"I will be fine once he is," he says and then begins to fall asleep as does she. They wake up an hour later to Dan wide awake with almost a normal looking hand and twenty seven stitches.
"How are you feeling buddy?" Sam asks his brother and then wakes his dad up as the doctor walks in.
"Better, like I can actually hold a pencil again," he says with a smirk.
"Are you ready for procedure two? We will prep and wash you and then it will begin," his doctor says and he nods.
'"You all will have to go back to the waiting room with everyone else," he says and they all make their way and now it seems the entire congregation was now in there. They took seats to the men in black one is different from the one she met.
"Do you remember us?" the taller one asks.
"Yes, so you teach this gospel for two years, why?" she asks with a smirk of curiosity.
"We have felt the blessing it has been in our lives and we want to bring others the same joy," he says and then turns to the other. "Why did you do it Elder Young.'
"First I am Elder Young I just graduated high school and I came for two years because I have felt the Holy Ghost and the blessings of the atonement are you aware of this event," he asks raising his eyebrows.
"Yeah it is when Christ died for our sins and bled from every pore on a cross, then he rose again," she says smartly.
"Yes but when he left his twelve apostles were left to lead the church until they too were all killed and there was a period of time without the true gospel, he sayss bringing out a pamphlet labeled the restoration.
"Remember priesthood, Savvy will you read that last line in the last paragraph?," the taller blonde elder states.
"Sure, Without priesthood authority, however, Christ's gospel could not be returned to it's original form. A restoration was needed," she says sounding puzzled.
"Well in 1820, a boy named Joseph was living in a time of turmoil between faiths and wanted to know which one was true, so he read James 1:5 which says to ask so he did so in a grove of trees. The event is best described in his own words 'I saw a pillar of light exactly above my head that descended gradually until it rested upon me. The I saw two personages whose brightness and glory defy all description. The one said calling me by name, pointing to the other, this is my beloved son, hear him," he ends and pauses and Savvy's heart swells in delight knowing what they are saying has to be true.
"What was Christ's answer?" she says yearning to know more and Sam smiles at her.
"Sam would you like to take this next part?" Elder Young says to Sam who nods and takes her hands.
"He said none of them, in due time you will restore my true gospel, after this he became the next prophet and translated the books we read to what we know to be true the Book of Mormon,"Sam says.
"The Book of Mormon is an account of the ancient people of the Americas because we believe Christ visited other places as well when he was risen," Elder young concludes with a smirk. The other one starts giving a testimony and then the other does as well.
